Porsche tax is real though. Sure, turbos can be stupid fast, but it will cost serious money. And god forbid something goes seriously wrong. That´s why the MkV Supra is in a unique position. It may be a Cayman S challenger in stock form, but the aftermarket will probably take it to 911 turbo levels of performance for half the money. Not everybody´s cup of tea for sure, but there is definetly a market for this. It´s not hard to imagine many people moving from WRX/STI/Evo/S2000 or even some V8´s to the new Supra for that reason.
