One of my own aimgan reps I sell! Love it
Interesting. I’m sure it’s around somewhere, but any more info or website that you sell it at? PM me some details to not derail the thread. In the market for a front lip and it’s definitely a good looking one

You can cancel the extended warranty anytime up until 3 years/36k miles. It doesn't take effect until after the new car warranty runs out.
True

Yeah ended up cancelling mine and got refunded the amount back into my outstanding balance, does not change monthly payment unless you refi tho
I refinanced the first month of ownership cause I wasn’t happy w/ the rate I got. I’ll have to look into the refund a bit more since my warranty will likely be voided soon ?.

This is really disappointing to hear. I hope this is a localized defect and not a design flaw or material flaw.

Just out of curiousity, are you guys able to adjust the CMC’s rod where it allows the clutch engagement to be higher on the pedal?
I just scoured the service manual, and found no indication that there's any adjustments on that portion of the clutch system.

Most if not all new extended service contracts begin from date of purchase and run concurrently with factory’s 3/36k. You can cancel whenever you want, typically become prorated after 30-60 days.

Why would another warranty run concurrently to a bumper to bumper 3 year warranty? That would be interesting if they prorate something that's not really active until after 3 years.

That's how it worked for my other car. That's why extended is a waste up front.

Factory warranty only covers defects again like most things. The “extended warranty” covers wear and tear and usually more components (the good ones anyways) thus making the coverage more comprehensive. Just like the apple care warranty. It’s two or 3 years but runs concurrently with the factory 1 year.

can you give me an example that the extended warranty covers, that the bumper to bumper doesn't?

Driver side window going down slower than the passenger side window..that’s because the motor is wearing..it’s loss of performance..it’s not defective..just too much use..factory typically would not cover that, yes even under factory 3/36k. The “extended warranty” however would kick in and cover the motor.

The factory would definitely cover the example you've provided. Because they have to compare the performance to a new car. If a new car doesn't do that, they would have to replace it.

Don’t take my word for it. Read your owners manual. It will explicitly state defects only. Defect in materials and workmanship. Wear and tear is not covered.

Now that you mention power windows,
Does anybody else passenger window doesn’t roll all the way down and the driver side does?

Mine, I have to press it a second time to roll it completely down. If not, about half inch sticks out.

Mine is the opposite. Drivers doesn't go all the way down. Less than a quarter inch remains then I have to push it again.
