I went with HKS Hipermax R, just installed them a few weeks ago (car is stored untill april), so don't really have any feedback yet. I did hesitate a lot on the FA 510 though

I went with HKS Hipermax R and I’m very happy how the car performs on corners. As I daily drive the car, I don’t recommend it if you are looking for comfort but for me it’s fine, it’s not that bad on street driving. If you’re looking to track your car occasionally I would recommend HKS Hipermax S, but if you are tracking your car weekly, then go with Hipermax R.

Just curious, why the hesitation on the FA510s?

Honestly, just too much options and configuration possibilities for an average joe like me. And when you start checking a few options, it gets pricey!

Fair enough! If you ever decide you want to get a set make sure to call them and let them know what you're looking for, they'll spec them to whatever you need and are super helpful!

I am happy with my Ohlins (with Verus top hats) so far. Sucked to setup the rear ride height but havent had to mess with them since. No noises and an excellent ride for being coilovers.
How did they interact with the EDC/VDC system once they were setup?

They dont interact. You get cancellers. I went with the RSR ones and they have been fine for the past 3 years.
How much stiffer would you say rsr get on sport mode, a huge noticeable improvement?

Something to remember, you don't necessarily have to purchase the EDC cancellers. It can be coded out via protools.

I have track enthusiasts on them, they say they are slightly better than the HKS.

The redshift's are just BC coilovers. Def avoid those if you like actual good handling.

S3 trash.

510's are okay.

Personally, I would get Ohlins and add camber plates. It's super easy
@razorlab I was looking into the S3's since my stock struts with HKS are blown. Curious as to why they are trash? Spring rate options look good to me so is it something about the construction or performance? Thanks!

oh goodness, to adjust the height in the rears looks like it'll take some work on both of those collars , ughhhhhhh
