What cars is it compared to Guff?-This car is not a muscle car, nor is it a GTR killer. It will be a sports car that will impress really anyone that drives it, especially compared to cars in its price class.

Its benched against a Carrera S. So it will be sporty, nimble. What cars is it compared to Guff?
I mean in its price classIts benched against a Carrera S. So it will be sporty, nimble.
Telling you that would probably violate his NDA, pricing will remain a closely guarded secret until release.I mean in its price class
55k Canadian? That's like 43ish USD? Not bad. Way better than the 60k I was hearing months ago.Telling you that would probably violate his NDA, pricing will remain a closely guarded secret until release.
I used to think upper 40s CAD for the initial base model, but more recent "info" suggests it's more likely mid 50s, i.e. base Vette pricing which for me is too big a gap from a 31k 86.
Any MPG numbers?Sadly nope. Didn't get any dates or even estimates. I'll keep working on that!
Big statement.. for sure. I’m sure toyota will build an excellent car.. but without a manual I’m not sure if they understand the expectations portion."The MKIV is constantly on the mind of the designers and engineers, they know the expectations, the market, and most importantly, the hype. Don't think that they're in the dark about any of the details when it comes to the MKIV and it's place in the automotive world."
That is a big statement, we shall see.
For most brands you can't do a simple currency rate conversion to figure out how much a US car will cost based on Canadian pricing. When the USD costs $1.29 CDN, as it does now, the premium for a car here in Canada usually ranges from 10-20% over US prices, depending on brand and model - most manufacturers price lower here to move more metal. So I'd guesstimate that if the Supra is $55k here it will be more like $47-49k in the US.55k Canadian? That's like 43ish USD? Not bad. Way better than the 60k I was hearing months ago.
....
-There are a lot of small design elements that are still being tested...
If they are still working on 'small design elements', does that mean we are still more than a year away from a production car?Sadly nope. Didn't get any dates or even estimates. I'll keep working on that!
I believe the wing came standard but you could option a wing delete. Wing delete was pretty rare on the turbo cars though.Just throwing this out there..
The Mkiv supra was sold with and without a wing...
