?‍♂?‍♂ Still don’t see it. Just take a better photo with it zoomed in and not a zoomed in photo of your overall photo.

We all want to know what not to do and break the mounting points on the valve cover. Still not sure how the hell you did it. I taken mine off like 500 times.
It's in the first post... about as zoomed as you could want I would think? :dunno:

I'd guess as far as what not to do... don't pull up really hard on one corner only, work your way around it or pull up from both sides at same time which is how I've done it without issue (so far at least).

Thanks Digicidal, exactly.

the VC you see above is the new VC. And the post didn’t break off it just cracked at the base.

After looking at the first photo again, there was definitely a flaw in the material. Probably a small void created in the molding process. Thank goodness for the warranty for manufacturing defects.

Listen, I did put leverage on that post when I lifted the engine cover from the corner. And while it wasn’t a tremendous amount, it was my fault to be sure. And when I gave a pull on the new post it definitely feels like it wouldn’t take too much to break it, so just be careful.
