Yeah, that's bullshit. I flew to Cleveland Ohio next day after putting a deposit on my 2022. Took it home w/ 22 miles on the odo. Idk what happened in those 22 miles, but I guarantee I've been harder on the car than that 23 year old Kyle in the backroom.

It's a mass produced car with a mass produced engine. It's not a fuckin' ferrari.

I had to make sure my car never saw a highway until it was PPF'd. So I would have been pissed.

What is frustrating the most is that he texted me about the tech taking the Supra for a drive and when I told him to not do that he said that the tech is already out on the road! All this after my bank already mailed them a check for the vehicle and it is paid for and insured!

They finally caught that signal at mile 87 lol. One of the managers probably used it as a personal vehicle for a bit. If you had a good experience outside of this issue, perhaps they can include some perk or something if you decide to take delivery. See if the paint is fine and the seats don't have creases.

Unbelievable how dealerships treat people's second most expensive lifetime purchase. Human nature I guess! People just don't give a crap about what they don't own.

I am taking delivery of a 2026 GR Supra 3.0 Manual on the 17th. I received this text message from Toyota West located at Columbus, Ohio. Is this normal?

"The shop foreman is going to have to drive this car today and put some miles on it per BMW to try to get the factory navigation to catch its signal it’s needing. Just wanted to let you know that. He’s gonna drive it around 270 loop more than likely. We don’t have the connectivity problem often but when we do it’s on cars form over seas. Won’t be driving it rough but he will drive it shortly. "

Wouldn't be too concerned about the ride, more like concerned on how they are handling your vehicle when you're not there: Are they launching? Rough handling the car, blah, blah, blah, that sort of stuff.

What is alarming to me is that the DMV odometer disclosure stated that it has 10 miles on it and they managed to hit 87 miles already before delivery! That is more than an hour of driving!
