Botched install aside, being a car enthusiast in Cali's gotta be hell man. Ugly front plate requirements, 91 Octane max in most areas, gas is twice as expensive as elsewhere, and the laws against mods and tuning are getting stricter by the day.

This is exactly why my front plate is on the tow hook plate holder. Luckily I have E85 close, so I can run E40/45 with a custom tune. Easily go back to full stock and unplug for smog checks.

Not sure tbh, I did it in 2024. Just enabled stop start memory. Turn off once and forget.

The best way to get the start stop to not activate is to add Sport Plus. So you have Sport, Sport Plus and Economy (or comfort, forget what it’s labeled as). This allows you to always start in Sport Plus, which is customizable, and will disable start stop, while shifting or engine is Comfort mode. I will get pictures when I get home. My start stop doesn’t activate because of this, but if you put it in comfort mode, it will, as turning off start/stop no longer works, unless they fixed it recently.

I did sport+, pretty much just makes pedal more linear. Also you can turn off the fake engine noise through the speakers I believe.

Mine had 6 miles on it.
I would think anything under 12 is normal.
More than that seems unusual.
I bought mine before it shipped so no other test drivers.
