Do you actually know how they measure at LRP? How it's weighted and where it's measured from?

It just blows my mind how loud some cars are there and no one gets black flagged despite the warnings like everywhere. ?

The stock bangs and burbles on a bone stock 2020 are very likely over 100 dBA when measured from 2 meters away from the exhaust at 45°.

@Dinan_Engineering can you give some details on the testing method you used for the M2?

Stock practice for us when doing dB measurements is about 8-12" away from the exhaust (equipment is basically positioned like a GoPro would be). Depending on if we are chasing a bad drone or something we sometimes do interior measurements as well but that is far less common.

Just as an example the below chart is what the G87 M2 measured out with between stock and just the Dinan axle-back. Helpful tip for reading -- generally a 10dB difference is considered twice as loud for the human ear (logarithmic scale).

So this is basically a single muffler exhaust and when the flap is open there’s a straight pipe off to the side? One side would be wide open other side thru a muffler correct?

Yes. More eloquent version of sayign the same thing from the product description...

There is not. Typically the only discounting done at the factory level is during the holiday sale (black friday to x-mas). At least that has been the case for the last 5 years or so. I imagine it will continue this year but no word has come down to us peons in the trenches as to if that is reality, when it may start, what products will be included/excluded, rates, etc., however.

Nothing from us directly but there is the JP Performance (German) video when it was still in development that can be found below (fast forward to the 12 min mark). Outside of that there are a few IG users that post a fair amount of videos like era91mt. He's the only handle I recall off hand but if some of the others come to me I will add them here as well.

d3nzl.mkvsupra is another IG user that posts up a number of Supra exhaust clips.

Ordered Monday, got here Wednesday, put it in Thursday (today). I am very happy with it already, the 2 people still at work when I put it in liked it a lot, and on the drive home I already got compliments! Also I am ready to apply for my Dinan badge l

Do you have an aftermarket DP? If so is it catted or catless?

Just ordered this too with black tips from x-ph. Hopefully get it in the next 2 days too and will put on with the AA catted dp (also from x-ph) currently sitting in my garage.

did you get it with the aa catted dp? any drone or difference in normal mode?

got mine installed with AA catted dp. Normal mode is just a tad louder but a bit lower note. In sport mode it’s a lot louder and still sounds pretty good. It definitely makes your presence known. Some of the volume increase is due partly to the high flow dp.

any clips in normal? will it attract the police?
