I'm assuming the tips can be rotated so the Dinan logo faces down? Prefer stealthy looks, thanks!

They could be if desired. Given the short sleeved/skirted design though it would also mean the exhaust clamp head would also be on the bottom so at some angles may be more visible.

Has anyone found a sound clip with a complete comparison between stock and with this exhaust?

Aka:
  • Stock DP + Stock Exhaust + Valves closed
  • Stock DP + Stock Exhaust + Valves open
  • Stock DP + Dinan Exhaust + Valves closed
  • Stock DP + Dinan Exhaust + Valves open

Not gonna lie, I’m really thinking about removing my perfectly good Active Autowerke catback for this one simply because the design makes it so that when the valve is open l, the default path essentially is straight out, whereas my AA dumps to a muffler, even if briefly.

Plus my Dinan axleback other than cold start buzz is absolutely epic on my M4 CS

Exaclty why I chose this exhaust. It has a single exit bias but has the muffler valved side just in case.

No sure if it's exposed from the rear view but I don't like how the muffler is not centered under the rear bumper. I would prefer it to be centered and symmetrical. Perhaps my ocd kicking in.

Not at all exposed.

if so, you’d also complain about the open space where there is no longer a left side biased exhaust pipe either.

~ guess that's why I dislike the aftermarket single exit exhaust as well. lack of balance.

For whom? I can’t say that anybody anywhere has ever looked under a car ever unless it was older, for sale and in the rust belt.

you want the single, it changes the sound for the better.

I'll try to get this footage. Would just be a simple outside the car while parked. Bought my Dinan exhaust and bought a new house so havent had the time to install it yet while getting the new place set up
