No, shipping is included. I'm just trying to figure out how to automate that on my store. 😭😂

As long as the install is beginner / beginner-intermediate level and no long term "damage" to the car I'd likely buy one the moment there is some more media and install info.

The price seems very reasonable for the product, an install guide, and the R&D that went into this.

I'm interested but as others have said, I want to see installation instructions.
I too am curious if it works when the car is locked as it is a pita to reach for my key fob while pushing my grocery cart.
I'm lazy and old... 😄

Once tested, let us know. It could be very useful as long as it requires a key nearby to work. Otherwise, if it bypasses the lock, then I would be afraid of it.

some people have said they want it to bypass the lock 😂

I understand both sides, the button and location make it invisible at any rate

Yeaaa I'm torn, depending on how easily "sealable" it is for the inevitable revert to stock-ish and sell the car
EVERYTHING behind (inside) the rear bumper cover is weather-proof. Considering the hole won't be visible anyways, just put a little plastic or rubber hole-plug in it and call it a day.

Last video I saw of someone doing this IIRC it just added the hatch release button outside. Pretty sure to get it to only activate when it senses the key around it would need a lot more than a wire and a button. But the z4 has one I think, so a retrofit should be possible. I'm guessing at least another sensor near the release button.

No boot releases work like that. And besides, that would be next level stupid.. but anyway. 🤷‍♂️
mom just repeating what people have said a bit up this very post, or maybe in my product dev post, I don't remember.

it's trunk, I think your autocorrect messed up 👀❤😂
