No, shipping is included. I'm just trying to figure out how to automate that on my store.Following!
But...$22 for shipping!?
I'll post video when I installWill it open if the car is locked though?
Definitely looks like you're going to have to drill a hole, but it's hard to say.damage
Yeaaa I'm torn, depending on how easily "sealable" it is for the inevitable revert to stock-ish and sell the carDefinitely looks like you're going to have to drill a hole, but it's hard to say.
working on it! I'm juggling a couple projects at once.yeah ill 100% buy once i can see install instructions and confirm nothing crazy is needed
some people have said they want it to bypass the lockOnce tested, let us know. It could be very useful as long as it requires a key nearby to work. Otherwise, if it bypasses the lock, then I would be afraid of it.
EVERYTHING behind (inside) the rear bumper cover is weather-proof. Considering the hole won't be visible anyways, just put a little plastic or rubber hole-plug in it and call it a day.Yeaaa I'm torn, depending on how easily "sealable" it is for the inevitable revert to stock-ish and sell the car
Last video I saw of someone doing this IIRC it just added the hatch release button outside. Pretty sure to get it to only activate when it senses the key around it would need a lot more than a wire and a button. But the z4 has one I think, so a retrofit should be possible. I'm guessing at least another sensor near the release button.Once tested, let us know. It could be very useful as long as it requires a key nearby to work. No boot releases work like that. And besides, that would be next level stupid.. but anyway.some people have said they want it to bypass the lock
