As title says…I dropped two bolts under the motor trying to install Verus heat shield. Does anyone know if I remove the large steel panel under the motor, will it allow me access to get these stupid bolts I dropped?

Maybe? Probably? or get the extendo-arm magnet and mirror and try?

Yes, they're likely in the tray. Every bolt ends up there.

Get a magnet on a bendy stick

That being said I don't blame you, the button head bolt and loose spacers combo is clearly not the best design decision by verus. if you drop a spacer, the undertay will need to come off because those are non-magnetic.

Had a similar incident with my Verus heat shield. Used a coat hanger with a wad of gorilla tape on the end.

For the really bad ones, you can see into the undertray with the wheel off. I jacked mine up, took passenger wheel off and used the coat hanger.

Magnets probably won't work as the bolts are aluminum iirc.

Bolts are titanium so no magneto. That being said, I removed the bottom skid plate and there they were. Looks like the front sway bar install will be easy too as it’s right there as well.

Front sway bar is cake once the skid plate is off. Takes longer to get the skid off.

Shop vac is a good way as well.

I did the same thing on Saturday. I just left it there and hoped it would fly away when driving since I had extras. You think it’s still there? Also don’t forget to bend it so that it clears the actuator.
