Greetings!

Picked up this car in late '22 as a 40th birthday gift to myself.
Bought the car used from a Toyota enthusiast that wanted to move on to a new project. Car was completely stock when I got it, with 8.000 miles on it.

It's a 2020 3.0 Premium, EU spec.
Plans for the car is to use it as a weekend driver and for the occasionally cars & coffee meets.

The day I got it:

The first modification I did was fitting a Milltek exhaust system, together with a Wagner catless DP.
I went with Milltek, as they are one of few that delivers ECE approval documents with their systems.
These documents are absolutely needed in order for the car to be road legal here in Norway.

Next up was Eibach lowering springs. Not a big fan of the slammed look, so I opted for the 20mm / 0.8" drop springs.
Also fitted 11/13mm spacers from H&R while I was at it.

Getting a alignment done after fitting the springs, then straight off to the local DMV for approvement of modifications and getting them stamped into the vehicle registration papers.

Armaspeed CAI was up next. Gave it two layers of ceramic coating and then let it cure for 48 hours before installing. Fitment was quite easy, just had to be carefull not to break off the intake ventilation hose. Pinching the clamp and wiggling it out did the trick.

Very nice! Working towards a very similar spec. Keep the updates coming.

What alignment settings did you use?

This is what we ended up with. Car pull straight and no tramlining.

Still after one and a half year of ownership, I still haven't decided on what wheels I want.
TE37 always looks good, but I think we can all agree it's been overused by now.
BC Forged has a lot of good choices, but still nothing that really catches my eye.

What made me fall in love with the Supra in first place, before I got one myself, was when pictures of the Heritage SEMA build started popping up on the web. I knew the instant this is the car I want to be my next one.
I especially like the wheels on the Heritage build, the HRE P107SC's.

It's just that my wallet don't agree on the price of the HRE's. Starting at $3,000 for EACH wheel! And I have to pay an extra 25% import tax on top of that. It's just to much what is reasonable to spend on a set of wheels. So I kinda knocked that idea off.

That was until this other day, while browsing aimlessy on the net, I stumbled across the catalog from Work Wheels, and there was one wheel that catched my eye:

"Work Gnosis FMB02"

These resemble the HRE's almost identical, and with a completely different price tag.
A complete set for less than the price of one wheel from HRE makes it much more obtainable.

Thinking about going 9.5"/10.5" in 19 inch. Deep concave look. And in matt/satin black.

Spring time has finally come. Less than 2 weeks ago we had 4 inches of snow and freezing temperatures in my area.

Did a quick wash to remove all the dust from storage. Ordered a bunch of detailing products that I hope to arrive this week.

On Black Week, I bought some carbon underhood goodies that I should finally be able to install now.
Just need to do a thoroughly cleaning of the engine bay first.

About wheels, I'm waiting for my tax return and holiday pay before I will put in an order.

Labor day! Spent my day off cleaning the engine bay and fitting the carbon covers.

I found the 3M tape on the cooling and middle radiator cover to be quite bad. It would not stick properly, even when heated up. So I used velcro instead! Actually worked out real good, and makes it much easier to remove the covers when cleaning / doing service etc.

Been busy with home renovation this summer, so not a lot of thing happening with the Supra.

But it has not been completely silent, some of you may have seen my thread about the crank harmonic dampener failing on me.
Made the supra undrivable for 3 weeks before I got a new ATI Super Damper and the tools I needed to install it.
I spent the time waiting, fixing the minor faults on my 240SX S14, so I could use that one while the Supra was down for action.

I managed to score a good deal on a intake manifold from Do88, that is now laying in my garage.
Just need to find some free time so I can install it.

And last, the Blitz strut bar that I ordered from RHDJapan finally arrived.
Other than that, not much has happened so far this summer.

Beautiful cars! I bet there are some epic driving roads in Norway.
Plenty of epic roads here! It's basically Skyrim in real life ;) https://www.nasjonaleturistveger.no/en/routes/
I'm planing a one week road trip next year to the western parts of Norway where all the good sightseeing roads are.
And in 2 or 3 years, myself and some friends are planing a trip down to the Alps in south of Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. We did that 10 years ago in our 240SX's and it was the most epic road trip ever, now we want to go back.
