Based on Doug DeMuro's Z4 review, contrary to MKV, Z4 has logos all over the place. No, you're not. TBH, the MKV lacks a lot of those small details but expected given the outcome of the product. Even the Z4 got the M logo. Something... anything.
Very funny Doug review. He already found 2 odd features/bugs. The infotainment's default temp in Celsius when everything else is in Fahrenheit. Also, the rear brake lights in the corresponding tail lamp are off when the turn signals are activated.Based on Doug DeMuro's Z4 review, contrary to MKV, Z4 has logos all over the place.
Yesterday I saw new X2 for the first time, it has a BMW logo on right above it's rear quarter panel.

Magna, through its Magna Steyr operating unit, is a world-leading brand-independent automotive supplier with expertise in design, engineering and complete vehicle manufacturing. And with the addition of the Toyota GR Supra, the company adds a fourth customer to its current complete vehicle assembly business.
“This contract from Toyota is a testament to our manufacturing expertise and our ability to deliver on the high quality standards we know our customers expect when building their vehicles,” says Günther Apfalter, President of Magna Europe and Magna Steyr. “This is yet another example of how we are uniquely positioned to support automakers that need additional capacity and new entrants looking for whole vehicle expertise.”
To date, Magna Steyr has produced more than three and a half million vehicles for various customers.
In addition to building the sports car, with its broad product portfolio, Magna will also be supplying the GR Supra with seats, body stampings, door latches, and liftgate.
Oh I would like to see some more photos of this car. Bad angle for checking, but the panel gaps already look more consistent here then on all of the preproduction cars we've seen so far. Saw the current grey one on the new car show circuit last week and the gaps around the stupid clam shell hood were pretty crap. I was hoping this came from a problem with the die or mold used to make the preproduction hoods and would be resolved for the production cars.
the Z4 at the BMW dealer by my house looks even worse.Yeah, it was pretty bad on the first ones that left the factory.
I saw a Z4 at a local dealership and the fit and finish was impeccable. The paint is by far better than any other BMW I've seen. Panel fit and gaps were all tight. There is a recent comparison between the Z4 and Caymen Boxter in Car and Driver magazine, they gave the Z4 a 9 for fit and finish, the Porche an 8.the Z4 at the BMW dealer by my house looks even worse.
