Since he is part of the LE clan and not a anniversary owner I will let it slide.
LE = Least Expedient

Should've bought a 2021-2023 instead ;)

Also if you upgrade the tires with a tune, you might want to look at the possibly updating the axles as many folks have broken theirs with a tune only while having fun on the street and strip.

Just like the vette - the aftermarket is endless with this car :)
Damn! I'll definitely look into that especially if my tuner deems it necessary. He's done a bunch of Supra's and he was pretty confident an ECU tune and a couple mods can easily hit 500 at the crank. I don't want to increase the hp too much otherwise the car would be undriveable and it has to remain balanced imo. 100% looking into better tires & wheels.

The biggest concern for me is a decent hp gain without stressing the stock components and frying longevity, so thank you for pointing out the axle issue. As long as I can walk a C8 (non Z06) I think I'll be quite happy with the tune. Besides, Z06 or not it'll have it's ass in the air in the shop waiting on another DCT. When I dropped my loaner off the night I bought the Supra, they had another one in the bay torn up putting another trans in...

Imagine saving up for 4 years to buy your dream car only to have your purchase go into an entirely other direction. But I'm glad it did.

Welcome to the community! I've had mine since 2020 and have had no issues at all, so I'd say reliability is great on these cars. If you're gonna get a downpipe, I'd recommend the Active Autowerke catted downpipe. I have that paired to the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust and it sounds great. If you wanted a much deeper sound then I'd recommend the Magnaflow. Both sounded amazing with the AA catted downpipe.
Sounds great and thanks! You know, I just want it to sound authentic if that makes sense. I'm so used to driving V8's this car sounds refreshing with the Inline 6 and the back burbles are addicting. I want my build to be as close to a JDM car as I can get it. The MK4 is a car of legend I grew up with in the 90's so being able to drive a MK5 and seeing what the aftermarket is like is just so fun and exciting.

The burbles are addicting! Wait until you get a tune and can adjust them..........that's a lot of fun! You can adjust them from MILD to WILD!!!

You would be surprised at how driveable a 600whp+ Supra with the right tune and right setup can be.

Welcome to the club!

I haven't read through the comments yet, and I'm just finishing my glass of Wild Turkey before bed, so maybe this was already mentioned...but you really lucked out with that low mileage 2020.

They have lower base HP, but the ECU on the 2020 is unlocked, so tuning (if that's your plan going forward) will be super easy and straight-forward.

Congrats! It's a great car.

Thank You! Yeah, I was stunned when my salesman called me and told me what the mileage was. It being a 2020 and having the ECU be unlocked is just the icing on the cake. I can't wait to tune her on Saturday.

550-600 whp is more daily capable than you would think. I don’t daily mine but do drive to work few times a week and go on cruises and I keep it tame. I go to the track for most of my wit and shenanigans. Get comfortable with the car as u build it. Add a part then get used to it. Add more get used to it. People double the power then lose it and wreck. The tail can get a shimmy with traction loss and that’s what gets people they try to correct for it. Lots of vids of people losing control. Coming from a vette I’m sure your used to it. I know the c7’s have a similar concern with the tail end being snappy
