HKS Hi Power Exhaust valve rattling

Hey guys I just installed a HKS exhaust but noticed there is rattling coming from the valve when closed. Does not rattle when open. Anybody else have this issue? Any help would be appreciated

This is exactly how mines sounds when it's closed. I have the same exact exhaust with a catless DP.

To me it sounds like exhaust leakage past the butterfly, which is always going to happen somewhat. Does the sound go away when you hold the butterfly stationary with a stick or something?

HKS here as well, same sound

I held down the butterfly and the rattling remained

in that case it's the exhaust pulse leakage. unavoidable unless you want to go down a rabbit hole

It doesnt rattle. If its unacceptable to you then contact your vendor and begin the return process.
