Specifically to the relatching problem. You can turn those parts which lift the hatch upwards after unlocking to like adjust how much resistance it will give

Hard to explain but give both a turn and see how you get on

Explained way better here:

Ah yes I know about that adjustment. I thought you were talking about the struts themselves.

Got mine from new in July 2023.
Did the break in over one long weekend driving it across Europe, crossing the Alps. :D

Completed almost 30.000km (~18k miles) by July 2024.

Car is now at 40.000km (~25 miles).

Vast majority of the mileage has been covered in Europe, as I don't drive around that much when in the UK.

I'm about 700 miles off 50k on mine now.

Still enjoy driving her as my daily.

I think I'll use her as my daily for 2 more years, and then get a new car. She'll then join the mkiv in the garage and get some much needed mods and some TLC.

Logged into my Supra Connect app to see I’m at 14,782 miles ?. I bought this one new from the DC area, after smashing up the 1st one from NC. Shipped em both down to SWFL. Can’t believe how much time (& miles) fly by. I’d have less but I enjoy her too damn much. No winter excuses for me ? with the AC working so well.

She was meant to be only occasionally tracked. But once I drove her on track, I quickly found out how capable she was & the use flopped. Thus now drive her more track than street. Now I just say fcuk it. Find myself taking little short trips around the block, errands, etc, while waiting for track season to roll around again, to put on the bulk of her miles.

I really want two Supras. Another like Andrew’s @Andrew4Supra with minimal mods. Quiet cabin, refinement and power when needed. But that’s hard to justify having no car payments ? and my little manual MX5 club as a backup. I do think most cars look their best origiNal. Just my thang. Thus it’d be nice to have 2️⃣ of these puppies the garage. One virgin Supra and the other a track slut. *(it’s always a biAhch trying to make one car do both. Regardless of brand, make or model. Every track ride always need more ? if you do it long enuf)*

567 with 2 days to go to my one-year anniversary. I'm going to drive it today to try to get past 570.

@FLtrackdays needs a manual counterpart.

I'm somewhat considering this as well - one dedicated for track and one for the street. But there's a lot of good street/sporty options available too. My brother has an Integra Type-S that's a really fun sporty sedan that's a lot more "practical" than the Supra that he takes to the track sometimes when I go as well. The Supra is a much more fun car to drive, even on the street, but having a nimble 4 door with some refined sportiness is also tempting.

Anyone hit 60k miles yet. I suspect I'll hit that comfortably this year. I'm current just under 55k.

Just had a service and MOT at Bracknell Toyota with no reported issues.
