I am trying to do the same thing. My car is also stock ties and power. Do you think there might be something wrong with my car?
Nope. Turn off the traction control and/or VSC so you can do what you want with the car.

Everything is hot here. Driving on normal roads.
Maybe your turbo is out? Or the wastegate. That happened to me once. I couldn’t believe the difference! It was like driving a Yugo

Well if the tires and surface are hot, you’re probably just getting traction. I’d be surprised if this was indicative of an issue with the car. Try going out in the rain in an empty parking lot and turn traction control off, then see if you’re still unable to break the tires loose

I have a 2024 MT and I find it very difficult to break traction in 1st gear in a straight line.

I wish it was more tail happy.
mine hooked in 1st while stock too. JB4 on ethanol blend and I'm lucky if 2nd hooks.

i also have a manual and i find it hard to break traction on first gear as well too. maybe i just dont know how to launch the car lol
I break loose on black asphalt in ~80 degree fahrenheit from a ~5mph roll every time. I have yet to launch it but I imagine it would still spin

I usually have traction control off. It rains twice a year here, so that will be a long wait. :)

Empty parking lots should be fun.

I don’t want to burn the clutch but it would be nice if it would do a little wiggle at the rear from a slow roll.

Yous is auto or manual.
Autos seem to have much shorter gearing.

Mine is a manual and usually breaks loose around 4k rpms from a slow roll in first when pinning it
