From what I’ve read no it isn’t. Nissan says a new Z car isn’t a priority right nowIs the Z suppose to be shown? That's really cool![]()
Actually picking up a 300ZX this weekend as my new project. Pretty excited about it as I use to own one back in 2000. Great car, lots of problems....but man did that car get attention.I haven't been a fan of the Z since the Z32, but if they can bring me back, I'm ready.
I've been seeing the 300ZX and the 280 a lot latelyActually picking up a 300ZX this weekend as my new project. Pretty excited about it as I use to own one back in 2000. Great car, lots of problems....but man did that car get attention.
I had one up until a couple of years ago. Went through 2 engines, finally got it back together just in time for it to get covered in hail damage. The times that it ran though, it got more looks and comments than any other car I've owned.Actually picking up a 300ZX this weekend as my new project. I agree, one thing I missed about it....the looks and attention. Anytime I was at a light with the t-tops off or filling up gas, someone always asked "what is that car?", "wow...beautiful car", "is that a Ferrari?" I was younger at the time and wasn't very mechanically inclined...however, that was in 2000. Now, I build my own motors and know every aspect of how engines work. I am ready to take on a project like the 300ZX. Motor will come out though, planning on either a 2JZ swap (most likely) or if I can find a good deal on a RB26.I had one up until a couple of years ago. If I could do it over I would have put an LSx in it last time just to make easy. I had clueless people asking if it was a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, and Porsche. It was kind of fun.I agree, one thing I missed about it....the looks and attention. I plan on doing the 99' JDM conversion....body, trans, and headlights. If I could do it over I would have put an LSx in it last time just to make easy. I had clueless people asking if it was a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, and Porsche. It was kind of fun.
My wife always thought they were ugly cars and didn't care much for mine. It wasn't running when we met, then I got it together and she drove it and told me I could never sell it. Then I sold it lol.
Those headlights are pricey! lolI plan on doing the 99' JDM conversion....body, trans, and headlights.
