Just a random observation but I noticed this (pictures) for the first time after some spirited driving. I'm probably being a hypochondriac since the front of the hood lines up perfectly but just thought I would throw this out there. See how the hood is not flush with the door like the bottom panel is? That is my concern, thanks!

Both sides are like this

Do you have new pics to see the difference now?

Here is mine for reference. It’s from the top looking down the side.

It looks pretty close from the pics.

Yea its pretty close, just thought it might of been bent somehow on both sides like that. If you run your finder from the door panel to the hood then it will hit the closer you are to the bottom (of the hood panel) you took a picture close to wheel?

Its about halfway down the top of the door and the fender. Here is another view of it.

Yea looks like mines lines up pretty good to where you are testing at, the problem area is right where the corner of the hood meets the other panels.

I see it now, it looks like its flush in the middle then flares out to the edges. Take it to the dealership and have their body shop fix it. They should cover it under warranty.

And if they give you any grief show them this pic. It’s right at the bottom of the hood.

Hmm.. my car has this same issue...really didn't notice it because it's not as bad as the OPs hood..but definitely mine doesn't line up.

The mismatch between the hood and door on my first 2021 was even worse than OP's:

My current 2021 is similar to OP's after he adjusted the stops. Maybe a little better. I wouldn't even consider asking my dealer to "fix" my factory hood or doors. The result would certainly be worse.

Same. They gouged some of the paint on the inside of my fender somehow when charging and re-initializing the battery. I shudder to think what would happen if they were actually intentionally banging on things. LOL.

There's a bit of gap/misalignment on several of my panels... not enough to really notice until washing it though.

Naw mines worse :p but jokes asides... omg that must of been a terrible day o_O.

I'm going to try and gently "adjust" the corners myself. It just needs a tad bit of movement and I'll be happy.
