It's currently my daily, which I thought wouldn't be that big of a deal since I WFH, but damn I'm racking up miles faster than I thought I would ?

Had an old ranger with like 70k miles that I sold to my father.... fixing to buy that back for a daily driver.

I grew up on the 90s fixing up cars in high buddies garages and after the MKIV got discontinued the S2000 was one that got away. Never had a chance to own one. Did you buy them used or original owner?
All used - and all purchased before this market went absolutely berserk. The 05’ was purchased long ago, with few miles, as second owner. Also have a cherry original with 7500 miles but that’s being driven by father-in-law; meant to actualize MIL fun car dream but she doesn’t actually like to drive that much ? Others also used - heavily and in need of love and another purchased from a caring track enthusiast. Simply wonderful cars - if not slightly cramped to drive! The Mrs and I are of very different stature. Just need to make more time and $ to keep up with the passion!

If you find a fair deal on one, it’s worth picking up. Money ain’t free, of course, but fun gasoline cars with true character aren’t getting any easier to find.

2020 and a little over 6,000 miles. Not a daily driver. Would I like it to be, yes but I go places with my FJ Cruiser I don't want to take the Supra. In a way the Supra isn't practical for me but I love the car and color.

Who says this car isn't practical?

I was amazed how much I was able to comfortably fit when I went to the track last week. 2 full size folding chairs, 10 gallons of E50, tool chest, cooler, helmet, tire inflator, extra oil, breaker+torque wrenches, etc. all in the trunk, both front seats completely open.

Supra is kind of my daily car since I always drive it when I'm going out alone. My wife doesn't enjoy riding in the Supra so most of the time when we go out together, we will take the RS6. That's why my Supra has only done 1200 miles after 4 months.

Just got my Supra, but it will not be my daily driver all year. We started with two Subarus. I let my hubby trade in my '12 Subaru for a truck, so now we have his (our) '16 Subaru, his truck, and my Supra. My Supra will not leave the garage in the winter, or even if I know bad weather is certain. Reason why, rear wheel drive and (especially) snow/ice don't mix well and I want to protect my investment from road salt. I calculated I'll do ~3-5k miles per year after she's broken in.

I was watching a video saying about Supra being majority the 2nd people's car and I'm curious to see how that applies in the real world.

Please share what makes you have (or have not) Supra as your daily car.

  • Is Supra your daily (or only) car?
  • If not, what cars do you have and what makes you avoid Supra as a daily car?
I drive it basically every day, I put 13k miles on it in about 7 months, its up to 17k right now (13 months of ownership) but that's also with it being in the shop for over 7 weeks at one point. I have another car but this is the first car I've had that I really enjoy driving, its extremely hard not to drive it. My other car is an old Yukon, it just feels like I'm driving a bus.

I don’t have a daily. I drive whichever car I want or whichever the situation calls for.

2020 and around 6000 miles. Pretty sad about that. I really love driving it. My favorite car but I use the FJ Cruiser all the time because of the places I go are not always good for a Supra. I may sell it as it decorates my garage and I polish it and keep it super clean. lol I mean, my Supra isn't even broken in yet and I have done 3 oil changes. :^)

Wow surprised at how many people dd their Supra. For me this is a 2nd or 3rd car but that’s just me. Only take mine out for a ride on sunny days or when just cruising around on weekends with wifey. My daily is a 2013 Honda crv or my wife’s GV80.

Is that a custom front lip? Never seen that part in carbon fiber other than the A91 CF edition, I dig the look!
