Is this bad as far as rubbing goes?

I recently had a set of tires installed on my stock wheels. I also have spacers on my car which are 13mm in the front and 15mm in the rear, I'm also lowered by 0.8".

Tires are
265/35/19
285/35/19

During heavy load the front tires rub a bit and I've posted a photo. Not sure if it would help but I have yet to get an alignment done for the new tires. Worst case scenario I'll go down to 10mm spacers in the front.

I run a 275/35/19 on the front of my Apex wheels which are roughly the same offset as the stock wheels with 13mm spacers up front and I've never experienced any rubbing. I however have not tracked this car, just spirited driving on some nice country roads. Have you looked into an alignment after your lowered the car?

I run 265/40/18 on 18x10 +25 fronts lowered an inch with zero rubbing.

I also have -2.5 degrees of camber in the front.

You can either go with more negative camber and/or slightly smaller spacer to alleviate any rubbing.

Yea I had an alignment done right after I lowered the car about a year ago. I got the new tires installed two weeks ago but then I went on vacation for two weeks and just got back. I'm going to get another alignment and see if that helps, if not, I'll go with 10mm spacers up front. Loving the wider tires though! This thing grips around corners now!!

I had the same issue with the same tire size but I’m running 15mm spacers and H&R springs. Eventually it rubbed enough of the bumper tab that now with Ohlins it doesn’t rub.

Seems odd. I am also on H&R springs, 13/15 spacers but stock tire sizes. I would not imagine that going up by 10 in tire width front and rear would cause rubbing. However, even though we’re on the same springs, you look a lot lower..

I had the same issues with H&Rs. By the time they had 8k miles on them, the front was slammed pretty good.

Rubbing isn’t good, drop to a smaller size spacer. FC has 5mm which should be more than enough. That’s what I run with my 265/35/19 RT660s on stock wheels and HKS springs.

No, H&R springs. I forgot the name of them when I made my post lol.

~ Most H&R lowering springs are more aggressive than only .8” in the front regarding the drop.

The H&R springs seem to slam the front and keep the rear too high imo.

The lowering spec H&R states are way more aggressive than published. An example seen below:
