Negative. And if any show up the JB4 can clear.
OK, you sold me, just placed an order for Titan down pipe and o2 spacer.
I have been waffling around unable to decide what down pipe to purchase, due to my concerns of getting a cel.
Only thing that sucks is no 93 octane by me. Looks like I will be stuck in map 1. ;(
Lucas octane booster
The problem with using any octane booster is getting the exact ratios. If you run too much, it will run like crap because the burn is way too slow. ... If you don't use enough, the fuel will burn too fast and hot which can cause detonation.
if you have e85 in your area, you can can spike with a couple gallons per tank of E85 to help octane. but just a couple, not like 4-5 haha.
report back if you do get codes for the cat, i'm just curious if the little mini cat spacer works or not. i can just disable in the tune. But just curious if it works.
I used the same mini cat on my Huracan and my Gallardo prior to that and no CEL's... so I'm hopeful it will continue the winning streak.
It's definitely much more expensive than anything else (even the Bid Daddies mini cat)... so it better work. LOL.
Found out my local Napa sells race gas, so I guess I will buy a drum of it and mix it up when I refuel.
Will do, I spoke to Titan today. They said a big issue people run into is if they open doors, lock/unlock, or do anything else that takes the car out of sleep mode when they are working on it.
I guess, if the car wakes up and you have the O2 sensors out, disconnected, or in anyway not fully installed, it can trigger the light.
I will keep the thread posted.
Battery disconnected is your friend
No cel yet
Welcome to the party pal!
Is that the updated intake with a mounting bracket? I heard the originals had fitment issues?
Also read that the stock intake is doing better than the after-market options that are open to the engine bay...Too much heat getting in...
Guys, I installed my JB4 with the Bluetooth, the only thing I'm suffering with is finding a place to route my OBD cable through the firewall.
Man this firewall has no good access on either passenger or driver sides!!
I saw two large grommets on both sides but I can't locate them on the engine bay side.
In the spirit of helping others: Maybe someone could make a video of install (just the part where going from driver to engine compartment) or video of grommet location? I’m crap with video making myself
Go from the inside the car and poke a hole out. Look under the driver's side you will see a black rubber grommet. Use a screw driver and poke a hole out. Then go under the hood and look for the hole right next to the round metal device. If you are facing the silver metal device, it will be on the right side. Hope this helps.
