2020 Supra Premium
Just picked up a new 2020 Supra premium last week (already has downpipe, JB4, new wheels and tires with charge pipe and intake on the way). Figure why waste time right… So far love the car. Its not with out its foibles but over all its been really great. This site has been a massive help in doing research so thanks to all you guys and gals and other acronyms for posting up so much incredible content. Super helpful.

Something’s i just love:
Its looks. I mean it’s just cool and I like cool looking stuff.
Luxury when I want it. Overall it’s very comfy and when i just want to chill it’s great. When I want to be a hooligan, it’s great.
Responds great to mods. I mean really great.
Great gas mileage. My Miata was getting 34mpg mixed driving and the Supra did 31mpg same driving. Very happy with that. My Jeep got 14mpg no matter what.
Smile per mile is pretty damn high.

Somethings that have been a bit annoying.
The alignment was a tick out and that flat out made the car scary at high speed like oh dear god I’m gonna die scary. Darted all over like a crack junkie going through withdrawals. Seems ok now with 275’s up front and 305’s out back with a good alignment but needs more testing.
The stereo sux. I traded my 2020 MX5 in (lots of mods on that too) and the Bose system with 9 speakers was amazing.

i’m a big car (and bike nut) so I’ve owned a lot of stuff and this is one of my favorites. I do wish it came in a targa like the My C7 Grand Sport but it’ll be ok. I’m used to fast cars I’ve owned about 10 mustangs (GT’s, 350, etc) Just about every Mercedes 63S, Chargers, Miatas (so much fun everyone should own a Miata at some point), Vettes and everything else.

Current garage is
2020 Supra ADV1 5.0 wheels, 275/305 tire combo, JB4 Map2, Autowerke catted DP, Injen CAI and charge pipe and some tints…
2022 Tesla Model 3 Peformance
2022 Harley Davidson Roadglide CVO
2021 Harley Davidson Sportster S

Hope to contribute some stuff for the fine folks here and look forward to meeting some.

Dealers did a great job hiding these 2020s in their basements ?
Anyhow, congrats!

LOL sorry I meant “new to me” 2020 Supra. It was a 1 owner with just 15k on the clock.

I just picked my 2020 up a month ago and just joined as well. Lurked for a long time to prepare for purchase.
The GR was a nice compliment and addition to my R. She was a cream puff with only 2700 miles and Expel PPF all over the place. The R was custom ordered new.

Thank you. No still stock height don’t think I want to lower it as nice as it looks I don’t want the extra harshness that lowering brings. I like that it can be really pretty lux when you want to chill.

@Mason the Model 3 is awesome. Great car, good range, comfortable and stupid fast. The hit of full torque in milliseconds is just insanely fun. Nothing feels like the hit. The Supra goes fast but you’re always fighting traction the Model 3 just Goes, doesn’t matter rain or shine or dirt or whatever just hooks and books. It’s hilarious to watch people get slammed into the shit screaming HOLY SHIT when you punch it from a dig.

We even did a 2000 mile road trip and it was excelllent. The route planning was so easy. Just put where you want to go and the car figures out everything else for you and then drives you pretty much most the way there. I drove all night to DC and got there in the morning like “ok let’s go walk around”. So good can’t compliment that car enough. My brother in law owns a Model Y with over 60,000 on it already.

Happy for you new owner! I haven’t been this excited about a new car in a long time… Glad others are feeling the same. Most cars I‘ve had have just been track tools, if you will. This beauty drives so well in town and on track, and just has a different feeling to her. Not sure if any of you have heard the same but it’s funny when people tell you it looks like a Batmobile. Maybe that’s stuck in my mind and I feel like a caped crusader now, ?. My only regrets are not finding someone with a Hunter alignment machine. My computer is all pissed off throwing codes being a bit lowered on springs and a track alignment. The car drives great despite the fact. But will be nice when I finally get a local race shop with the Hunter tools to reset all her upset sensors.
