I'm more curious than interested, would like to see picture if (when) available.

No, he's saying the install of this solution is best done at the same time you're doing an oil change -- you have the filter out, and the filter cover removed. I'm speculating that it's some sort of spacer between the engine block and the threaded oil filter housing.
makes more sense. Hope he is successful. I am fine with electronic measuring, but understand some people like to look, and taste for themselves.

This is a lot more simple than you guys are making it! I mentioned it needs to be done during an oil change because the adapter will thread into where the drain plug is. We are using physics here to measure the oil. Just think of it like a metal tube coming out of the drain plug and going up around to the oil filter area where you will have the normal pull out style stick.

I would be down for one if you make extra sets. I don't have any oil consumption issues at the moment (9000mi), but I'd like to see physical measurements versus just trusting a BMW computer.

if it’s as simple as that boy it would be worth the $100.. just remove before a trip to the dealer

Remove the entire thing would mean you're going to need to drain the oil before you can take the thing off, no? What a pain in the crack..

not so bad when I think about the issues I’m dealing with. Oil change doesn’t sound hard at all.

Yeah It's not difficult, but that's like $100 worth of oil down the drain..

I mean you don't make your car drink her own pee right?

Interested. I will need to see it first but I'm in if it's not janky.

Yes, interested. Would like to see what it consists of. Having none, is stupid.
