So I read somewhere that 285's actually have a larger contact patch than 295's, is that true? Also I expected the 295's to bulge out more on stock wheels. I was considering upping to a 265/285 setup.
In my opinion the 295 is to wide for the factory wheel...
I don't like how the sidewalls bulge past the rim..it's not a whole lot but for me it's to much...

No 305s stick out too much. 295 is just right for rear wheel.

What kind of mods do you have, curious to see what power level you are at with how the tire is handling it.
I only have a few bolt ons with a stage 2 OTS map. Even in stock form the 275's struggle to maintain grip. Cornering is fine, it's exiting a corner and hard acceleration that gets a bit squirrelly.

Well I just pulled the trigger on some 285 35 19 R888R's, pretty impressed so far and I still haven't worn off the new film. Will do some 0-60 testing and let everyone know.
