With the Bluetooth dongle attached to the OBD port, where do you then find the exact % readout? The sensor is more than capable of giving you an exact reading. Just connect any OBD bluetooth dongle and read the level in millimeters.
- 100% (6.6 liters) = 97mm
- 100% (iDrive max) = 97-85mm
- 75% = 84mm
- 50% = 82mm
- 25% = 81mm
- 0% (iDrive min) = 78mm (add 1 quart)

Update pleaseLadies and gents, we have a functioning dipstick. This will be called version 1. I need to make a minor change so that you can put the plastic cover back on but I think I already have that figured out. Just got to buy another fitting to verify.
Thank you for your efforts on this.No update from the last post. I actually pulled everything back off and have it sitting on the work bench. Need to find one of these dipsticks with a longer indicator. The one I used was about an inch too short. It would only read up the stick about 1/4". I think I found a longer one but havent ordered it to find out. My house remodel has been taking all my free time lately.
