What the heck is intermediate development? I'm a dev and I've never heard this term before...
I think it’s like shy-build.. when the rest of his brain arrives he can finish(?)

I have a hard time you've been a dev (or any career) where you don't know that intermediate comes between beginner and advanced. If you look at any standard career ladder:

* L0 jr software engineer
* L1 jr software engineer II
* L2 software engineer
* L3 software engineer II
* L4 sr. software engineer
* L5 sr. software engineer II
* L6 staff software engineer
* L7 sr. staff software engineer
* L8 sr. staff software engineer II
* L9 software architect
* L10 principal software architect
* L11 fellow

'Intermediate' would typically encompass ~L3-L6
Oh lol, I thought you were talking about some type of actual software engineering field or focus, not a generic career stage.

We use intermediate design checks, just to make sure progress isn't going down the wrong rabbit hole

He said September now did he not. Jeez you guys are impatient ?
Anyhow i wonder if he needs to get some certification or something. At least do some durability testing for components and adhesive? I suppose not as it's aftermarket and rules are loosy goosy but I dunno... I'm sure CA would have some rules lol.
Hope they'll have some UV protection stuff on it. Not that I'd ever buy one but would hate to see discoloration, cracks, etc..
