I mean, the new Z4 is supposed to be faster than the M2, and the M2 stacks up pretty well to the M3/M4...so the way I see it, roughly:Take a look at the proportion of the wheelbase to the overhangs and come back. Short wheel base / large overhangs vs. longer wheelbase / the same mkV overhangs. Very different look. Plus.. you are showing an 03 Viper .. smh. This car is supposed to be 20yrs newer.
C7:
106.7 inched vs. 97.2.
Overall length: 176.9 vs 172.4
Lol.
Vipers have similar wheelbase / overhangs but the car is shorter and the long hood changes the entire look of it. This Supra won’t hold a candle to Vipers design or performance capability. Vipers are hyper car killers. This Supra will be lucky if it can out run a M3.
Supra > Z4 > M2 ~= M3/M4
I also don't see Toyota giving the new Supra much less horsepower than the Z4's 382hp; if anything, I'd expect more from the Supra's supposed new bespoke engine. Combine that with lighter weight and supposedly more "performance oriented" dynamics, unless you need 4 seats, I feel like the M3 is going to be lucky if it can keep pace with this new Supra.
Although I acknowledge both sides of the argument contain a lot of speculation about information we just don't know yet.
