The rear one is going to be a biotch to clean on a black car like mine. I'd prefer the OEM one, but with a matte black logo inside the clear plastic dome.

Maybe a Chinese Panda can make one in the future.. ?

I really like these, but $150 for badges is quite a pretty penny. They should offer a cheaper, none color matched version with a plain black backing or something.

I'm sure those that order will have no regrets though, they look beautiful.

I had originally tinted my Badges, but IMO it still looked out of place on a non-black car. So i bit the bullet and ordered a set for my Turbulence Gray as well.

I like them but, not up close.

To me for that price it shouldn't be a $20USD black 86's badge over another smooth badge. They should be integrated so that it sits closer to the body and doesn't stand out so much a badge stuck on top of another badge.

That being said, I'm glad it exists and is on the market. More variety for this platform is always welcome.

edit. maybe something like the CF overlays Rexpeed has for the steering wheel badge to fill the gaps and holes in the bumper.

Ordered a set for my tungsten. We'll see. In an era where people are dropping 1300.00 on an intake, I dont see a problem with 150.00 for 2 custom badges that have been manufactured and painted to spec...regardless of the fact that a part of that badge costs 20 bones. (I havent verified that) If that's true, the 86 badges comprise $40 of the total...so there's another $109 for the 2 backing plates, painted to match your vehicle, tape, etc. And free shipping. I dont see where the complaint on price is.

Regardless...if someone doesnt like them, don't buy them. Simple. If I dont like mine, I'll get rid of them. $150 is nothing in this game.

Ordered my Tungsten set, looking forward to swapping out the crappy OEM ones.

Came in. Packaged well. Had some cards and keychains. Badges in separate foam. Paint match is perfect for tungsten, finish is great. Needs a coating for gloss to be closer to my paint.
Unfortunately no time to install tonight. Tomorrow afternoon it is.
