I never noticed the "TOYOTA" logo above the Supra logo....has anyone seen this previously?:

Discussed to death sadly lol. Basically, overseas markets (China and Europe mostly, I guess) have a strange desire for brand names to be spelled out. Such a desire does not exist in North America and we likely will not be getting the extra badge here.

I believe that practice is still relevant in the states though. I have "INFINITI" spelled out 15 inches long on my deck lid right under the logo, and my parents just purchased a new Rav4 and I believe it has Toyota spelled out on the back as well

Fingers crossed that trend doesn't make it to the US Supra, but if it does, then a little bit of dental floss should do the job.

Only if the logos are two separate pieces. If they are a one piece item then you’d be out of luck. Lol

There were pics of some of the test car with just the Supra badge. I'll look for them when I have more time.

I figured this was already discussed somewhere, I was just too lazy to search. I don't mind the TOYOTA logo to be honest, I am not ashamed of who makes the car....as long as it's a weapon on the streets.

There's going to be Magna-Steyr badging?

(That would actually be kind of cool, like the old GM "Body by Fisher" kick plates)
Huh??? Who said anything about Magna-Steyr badging on the outside of the car??

It's a joke, man. You said you're not ashamed of who is building the car, implying Toyota. I'm being a smart ass, because it's being assembled by MS. Forum software deleted the insurance smiley.

Wait... Forget that last one:banghead:
