New brake pads came in chip

Yesterday I got my brake pads and noticed there’s chip on both. I’m pretty hesitant to install it if it’s safe or not. Is it ok to install them or no?

I'd get a replacement set from the vendor.

yes. brake pad should not be easily broken. Those chips are significant. what brand/compound was it? you should get new one from supplier.
