Thanks for blessing us with your presence today King Razorlab! What a truly valuable contributor to this forum!
I suggest you really do your homework (meaning a simple 5 sec search on my username) before you make a sarcastic statement like that.

You didn't answer my questions. You don't have to repeat yourself, I can read just fine. If you know what it will NOT do why don't you give us your estimate on what it WILL do?
And this is $1000 for X amount of HP gain. What suggestions do you have as an alternative?
The vehicle in question will be daily driven and see a few road course track days during the summer months. I considered methanol but I didn't think that would be great for a track vehicle.
What’s up with randoms feeling so entitled to information that they feel compelled to demand answers?

You think I'm the entitled one? He comments on my thread and just shits all over my statements and the product I presented. If he is so knowledgeable how hard is it to answer a simple question? How much time would it take to respond with a helpful response instead of just shitting all over the OP? And you aren't any better. You just come in and talk shit. How about if you don't have anything nice or helpful to say, just don't say anything at all? Apparently you guys don't have manners here

man he's not shitting on the product, he's telling you it won't get you to your power goals. 91 octane is dookie. you will need a pure800 to make more than a stock turbo on E50 lol

Did I?

Sounds like I gave you input to your question and you didn't like the answer so now you are shitting on me. You fragile men are a dime a dozen here.

NOW I am putting you on ignore.
You have all that time on your hands to clap back and tell me how alpha you are and still never gave me a number. I'm absolutely amazed. What do you get out of this? You and everyone else are such hot shit you can't be bothered? I'm not sure how anybody would ever want to be around any of you with this type of attitude.
I'm not sure any of you understand the purpose of car forums. I have learned my lesson to try to communicate with this crowd

Ok, so what outstanding questions want to be answered? General consensus seems you're not getting to 500 without upping fueling to 93 or EXX.

Why not pick a tuner, discuss your goals with them, get a custom tune, and if you're still feeling like you want more power, they should tell you what's holding you back and where you'll need to improve mod-wise for the numbers to safely go up.

Personal experience and biggest recommendation I can make - get off OTS maps. Post-Pure 800 custom tune on 93, I've stopped caring about what the funny chart numbers say. This thing makes too much power for me to keep it in a straight line, lol. Custom tune makes a world of a difference.

I think it would help to get off the "you will not get 500whp train" and go down this route:

Let's say I make 415whp with a stage 2 OTS 91 map.
What will I make with a custom tuned Pure600?
What will I make with a custom tuned Hypercore?

I just learned about the hypercore today and it has a 9 blade (vs the OEM 6) 57mm inducer. So the hypercore will produce more than the Pure600 and be more comparable to the Pure650.

Also, nobody mentioned 93 octane before you. Is that really that much different than 91? And to clarify I run 92 octane with a 91 tune. That's what they have in Washington State. I don't think that's really relevant though.

I could definitely get a tuner....how does one "pick a tuner" with Bootmod3? How much is custom tuning and is it a headache? I've never had a tuner before besides the installer for my supercharged mustang.

Bottom line, you’re not hitting 500 wheel on a Pure600 or even a 650 with anything other than an ethanol blend. Even a Pure800 would need to be run aggressively on pump gas and will likely not cross that 500 wheel threshold without methanol injection.

You will not get the power that you want for as cheap as you want it, and this is not a platform that you want to cheap out with. Do it right or don’t do it at all.

I definitely need more knowledge? And I'm supposed to find it elsewhere on the forum? For this brand new product? Ok...sure...
