Due to this Recall, Toyota is temporarily holding enrollment into NASA program. No free trackday until toyota comes up with solution.
haven't gotten my cancellation notice for end of month Sonoma registration but I did see some others who got notices. what a pain for NASA.

yes... this just happened.. some regions are having the event this weekend and they just cancelled it. these regions don't even have chance to fill the seat in given time.. other regions are working to fill that void created by this..

Does this mean that the Supra should not be driven at all until the fix and update are ready????

Manufacturers do over react on things like this... for example, Hyundai recently had a recall and they sent mail to every owner not to park their brand new car inside, not even under cover.. This seems to be a bit more serious than that.. for example, if brake fails on a long straight going 120 mph, you will be hitting that tire wall at full speed... not anyone want to experience or see.. street driving at posted speed limit is a bit more forgiving...

then again.. I drove over 10K miles with many miles on track without any issue so far.. knock on wood.. However, I am a bit hesitant at the moment to drive on track though.. It is up to each's own. just be careful and be vigilant on performance of the brake.

This is why the 'out lap' is important at HPDE. You'll experience the failure prior to starting the hot laps.

I emailed NASA a few days ago asking if there's a cancellation. Radio silence.
**update**
They sent a lengthy standard email pairing me with my coach etc. Doesn't seem canceled.

ah.. last thursday? they just cancelled it all on friday..
Yup. Think I might've gotten lucky. I'm kind of disappointed they're cancelling everything when they don't have a fix ready and also made it clear what to avoid doing to cause the problem.
