Eh, 135 is a plenty high top speed for a stock car. It's unlikely to need to go faster than that, even on a track. Hellcat Redeye Widebody traps 125 with 800HP. A Model 3 Performance traps 115. The Cybertruck tops out between 110-130 depending on trim. So I don't think the top speed really matters.

This is probably a tire limitation. I'm sure they will offer a performance package with tires that can handle a higher top speed.

Says they're coming with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires and those should be plenty fine to handle more than 135.

Lol maybe it'll come with a software update later to add more horsepower ?

Jesus what let down.

They must have taken lessons from Bud Light on how to kill your brand ASAP.

6000lb EV.

Inline 6 "muscle car".

Or they can't get the brakes to not cook themselves when going over that speed and have to stop without using some special compound that violates some BS EPA standard.

God help us all.

  • PowerShot: Accessible by a button on the bottom right of the steering wheel, PowerShot is standard on Charger Daytona Scat Pack and R/T models and delivers an incremental 40 horsepower for 15 seconds when activated by a throttle punch
Factory scramble button is pretty rad.

Agreed. not the car for me, but the 550hp 3.0T hurricane?

Few 6 cyl engines that can hold anything to the B58/S58, so curious to see how it does.
yeah! it'd be a shame if we saw the same 5 cars on the road. i don't care how ugly it is, who manufacturers it, as long as there's another performance vehicle with aftermarket support, i'm looking forward to it
