I have multi-port, full E custom tune, all the usual bolt-ons. Making 551/666 wheel on race E. I’ve encountered 2 c8’s that wanted to have a go at it… gapping wouldn’t be the correct word, i was shocked by how quick and how far i pulled on them.

If that's true, we need to educate. Stuffed turbos are physically the same same as factory. Pures other stuffed turbos, or anything 'stock frame' isn't a big turbo. It's not a shot at people running Pures or similar or calling them 'small' it's just that Big Turbo means a thing. A pure is not that thing.
You would hate the VW crowd then. Putting a Golf R (IS38) turbo on a GTI or Golf (IS20 or IS12) is a "big turbo" to them.

I used to laugh in Precision every time I heard that.

im only on jb4 map 2, afe inbox filter and pump gas
i took him by 2-3

You are gonna need tires and >450 at the wheels. My dad has a C8 z51, it puts down like 440-460 whp and weighs 3500.

Supra weighs 3350, so its a bit lighter. I walk away at 480-500 wheel. Catted DP + exhaust, E50, RT660 @ 295, Ecutek, and 50/50 water/meth. Stock turbo.

Edit: If he plans on getting a z06 you are gonna need a turbo
What's your trap speed at 480-500 wheel?

No idea. Im sure someone has posted times at roughly that power level though. I would guess somewhere between 10.5-11.0 and like 120-130 trap. (Guessing)

Always cracks me up that the stuffed turbo, the budget option on every other platform I've played with, somehow got elevated to a premium position in the minds of the Supra crowd. On every other car I've had, you buy a stuffed turbo when you can't afford anything else lol. It's great marketing from Pure, I'll give them that.

I own both. My experience is to ~100mph and/or an 1/8 mile run the Supra will need at least a downpipe, Ethanol tune and a good tire. Highway pulls to the moon a downpipe and strong pump gas tune may give the Supra the edge; Ethanol would guarantee it.

The C8 in stock form is incredibly efficient to ~100 but not a top end machine, largely due to gearing and the factory calibration is very sensitive to rising IATs so it yanks considerable power when heatsoaked.

Also.. I ran the Roval at CMS in my Supra and got to play with a C8 across multiple sessions. Power mods on the road course setup are just a downpipe (intake, but does nothing for power). The C8 could easily drive around me and keep pulling at any speed on the Roval which was roughtly 50MPH - 140MPH for me.
