I saw the graph you posted up earlier with oem everything with just PS2 on 93.

my question Is wether you have any more numbers with PS2 turbo combined with cat less DP and e30 or ms109 with or without meth?

I just want to see where the PS2 turbo can go with essentially e30/race gas and a cat less DP.

Nothing with meth. As we dont have meth on our car yet till we finish out direct port setup. E40-E50ish iirc was around 515whp in our mustang dyno which is about 600whp on a dynojet.

BTW, Dyno-Comp is putting on a new trans cal - raiser tq limiter, quicker shifts, etc. Should work really well with bigger turbo and custom tune.

Other than what I added above, I'll have to wait to get it back for more info

XHP is a flashing software for the trans for options like launch control adjustment, torque limits per gear, editing shift maps, etc.

We are asking about it because I don't think anyone was aware of any type of flash for the 2020 Supra Transmission yet.

Now we work hand in hand with these guys on a lot of BMW stuff. So im curious if they were trying to use this to flash your Transmission. While the trans is indeed a ZF8. The TCM controlling it is newer. and not cracked yet. At least not by them. So was curious what they were using. HPtuners software talks to the ZF8 too, but not the new one. Mission performance had/has a tune for the ZF8 as well. But iirc, it was for the older TCM as well.

I'm trying to make the determination of throwing a Pure turbo on it or getting a really nice set of wheels. Or in what order haha. Sub'd for results and to hear about trans deal, from what I've read it puts itself into limp mode? Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Anyways, cant wait!

tune issues 95% of the time. trans doesn't just put itself into limp mode.

You posted on the 19th of November that you dropped the car there. Or around then. It's now December 4th and thata all they can tell you? Doesnt sound like it's going well.

Doesnt take 2 weeks to tune a Pure turbo car. I hope I'm wrong for your sake.

I dropped the car off without an official appointment, so it was several days before they could even work in the turbo swap and downpipe, then it was a couple more days before they could work it into dyno schedule, and then there was a four-day weekend. Not sure if they are on it every day as they are working it in between people who had have had appointments for months. I had originally scheduled a DP and tune and had an appt on the books, then decided to go with Pure turbo, then decided to go with the new, bigger impeller Pure turbo and the parts came in while they were slammed going into the holidays. I told them to work on it as they find time as they did tons of free work on my 650 hp Solstice Coupe and are working out bugs that no one else has been able to crack. (The owner was trying to diagnose it and it stranded him in limp mode a couple of times and would not reset.) They've done many dozens of B58's with Pure turbos in BMW's, so I'll be patient as they work on the Supra platform. The last text I got was that they were making progress working through the new operating system. Given the above, I'm good with that.

What are they trying to crack that no one else has?

They are trying to crack some bugs on the Solstice Coupe with the supercharged LS3 that was done elsewhere and has some CELs popping up with periodic limp mode -- has a hybrid harness, a bunch of new wiring, recently switched from LS-Edit to EFI Live. It was a build done years ago and never ran right so they are working through the issues. Richard says it's one of the funnest cars he's driven and they've had everything go through there over the years. I'm happy to report on Supra as it comes together. If there is some kind of unsolvable issue with the Pure Supras, I guess we'll find out.

ahh gotcha. Man, its been a while since i tuned an LS. used to tune the Solstice a lot. Don't really see those cars around much anymore. They were fun cars. Dont know what happened to them. Or maybe its just my area where they are scarce. Im actually about to tune a LS swapped 335i with big single. Should be fun.

We haven't had any issues with these cars, but for some reason i continue to see posts about having limp modes and other issues on the MKV.
