On a good tire (200ish TW or better) and stock power, fuel starve is very real at 1/2 tank or less. For instance a long right sweeper like between T13 to T14 at CMP, I've hit fuel starve/limp mode multiple times, ruining potential PBs.. The only other real weak point with stock hardware is low camber and soft front LCA. Temp management is perfectly fine at stock power. It slows down a bit in the heat, like everything, but coolant and oil temps are perfectly acceptable even in 90°+ for a full session. IATs aren't great but workable in those conditions.

~20 min session at CMP in the stank summer heat/humidity:

Hope it's OK to post this here since most here are doing coilovers and hopefully this will help others.
While installing my coilovers, I wasn’t thrilled with having a pile of zip ties holding sensors and connectors together, so I designed a bracket to clean everything up. It retains the factory acceleration sensor in the OEM location using a heat-set insert(or you could just use a nut), includes a dummy plug for the OEM shock controller (once coded out), and adds standoffs to secure the Y-splitter wiring.

It still uses a couple zip ties through the integrated wire mounts to keep everything secure, but the overall setup is much cleaner and more organized.

Printed in ASA-GF for added heat resistance and strength. If you print in CF or GF materials, you’ll probably want to add some protection where the bracket contacts the shock body to prevent rubbing.

My car fuel starves at 3 bars down (3-4 gallons used). Some tracks it can happen at 2 bars down. It’s real.
Besides filling the tank each session, is there a reasonable solution?

Not a Corvette.
There was a rumor of Thunder Bunny Racing having a much more simple solution but it's been crickets since.

I've had fuel starve at -1 bar from full. My car does have an upgraded turbo and LPFP running full E85.
if you were faster you wouldn’t spend so much time going through each turn causing the car to starve.

whoa whoa whoa. Only 2-3 tracks ok? Im taking down your Laguna time here soon. Just wait until the new car is done and built. I have already started collecting engine parts and it’s not looking good for you.

Hey guys, Hopefully I dont cop it about the search function but wanted to ask about track oriented performance on OTS vs custom tunes.

MHD do provide updates so I still feel like asking this question now is relevant.

I have Aus time attack coming up at winton next month and cant decide whether or not to stick with MHD+ ots or go custom. I had a tuner go over the ots map and gave it the thumbs up for mixtures on running up to E40 and the power it made was decent in my eyes, whats everyones opinions on custom tunes on the stock turbo with ethanol blends?

I do have DS25 and s58 injectors on the side I can throw in as well if I want but assumed the gains after e40 would be less significant and fuel demand/fuel level will increase chances of starvation.

Any insight would be really appreciated.

The drivability of OTS tunes leaves a lot to be desired. It’s still perfectly serviceable but I was slipping on low pedal positions. Custom will give safer and smoother power in general with a good tuner. If you’re adding an hpfp and injectors then that’s territory where you definitely would want a tuner.
