May have done a highway roll race in two A90s with a couple extremely notable YouTubers a little while back. In Mexico, of course.

Well on the day of my purchase, despite my initial plans to take it easy, my friend with a 911 was along side me, then a 6.50i showed up out of nowhere tempting me the whole way, needless to say my plans to slowly break it in went down the drain lol.
Nothing "fun", but an STI driver behind me snapped a photo of the car in stopped traffic.
I feel like to turn more heads, car needs a louder exhaust. Today, I drove alongside a friends Shelby GT350 and with the V8 and the exhaust, it turns more heads.. but then people are like, meh it's another Mustang, so Supra wins

Challenged by a Honda Accord...silly man.
I'm 56...me and my Supra were the hit at my 20 year old's friend's car rally.

Was out with my buddy taking some pics. I told him I was just going to take it easy and cruise. Of course, he ignores what I said and tried to goad me into racing him by gunning it around me in his BMW 535i.

Me, being a level-headed and calm individual, teleport to Mexico and give him the ol' kickdown switch and dusted him by a good bus length before he gave up.

Break-in procedure complete!


Every time I have driven it, someone has complemented me and said how good it looked in person. One guy in a Versa almost t-boned me while I was leaving a parking lot to talk to me. Another guy in a Fit was eyeing me while I was pumping gas before finally complementing me. I also had a 5.0 Mustang chase me down on the highway, he flew up behind me to get some video. Must have been doing 90-100 to catch up.

lol all these people being so reckless to get a picture, I really hope the hype decreases later on because I can't dine in without parking the car where I can see it.

Funny story: a d-bag in his Range Rover saw my car was getting loads of attention since it was parked in a reserved spot the valets at my favorite restaurant in Austin use for sweet cars. He dropped a Benjamin to have my car moved to another place. I don’t hold it against the valet—whatever. The fact that the dude went to that length proves the Supra wins.

I've had my car now since July 23 and yes , I cant go anywhere that some one isn't waving at me ,honking with thumbs up or stopping me to take photos of the car. My wife says she thought the car would be a chick magnet but she says this is a D*^K magnet because all the interest is from young and middle aged guys LOL.
Its a real head turner because there isn't anything like it . My arm gets sore from waving back at people

I totally thought about that.

I would have liked to have found the dude and asked him, “so if we take a poll right now with the people in this restaurant, which car would they prefer to drive home—guess who wins in a landslide?”

Agreed, way more a dude magnet. Around here every 10th car is a Mustang (not really, it just seems like that), and I’ve had many Mustang dudes pull even to gawk at it, and about half give me a thumbs up.

So I got my Supra 6 days ago. I had an 86, which I traded in. So, two days before I got the Supra, I was driving home and there is a nice 2-lane 90-degree right turn on the way, and I spy through the rear mirror a bimmer (M2C) approaching very fast and he smokes me around the turn and out of it. No biggie.

Here’s where it gets funny: my daughter is friends of a friend of the M2C guy in Facebook, and she said, “dad, I just saw somebody put up a pic of what looks like you getting toasted on a corner.” I asked to see it, and sure enough it’s me, and the asshat wrote that he “just smoked my first Supra”!

Needless to say, now that I have a Supra and it’s the same color as my 86, I really hope he tries that again.

For me was an orange Dodge Challenger. I saw him a mile away in my rear view mirror weaving through traffic on the highway just to catch up with me to look at the car. Gave me a thumbs up and drove off.
