Hello all - not sure what to call it but the hard, rectangular piece the jack puck slots into is coming loose on one side of my car. I figure it's likely due to all the use over the last three autocross seasons and all the tire swaps. Does anyone know how this piece attaches? I can't get a good look as low as the car is and I haven't felt like doing the board at a time under the tire routine in order to get a little more space to look at it. Thanks in advance!

It’s attached just like an expanding plastic clip. Center of the puck has a pin that spreads the clips on the back side of the puck into the hole in the chassis.

Perfect. Thanks. Just found a pic and part number. Looks like I’ll just grab a replacement when/if this one completely fails. It might go for years and just be loose…

Holy guacamole Batman. What makes that one $215 better than what we have now?

Well, they don't hang down half as far, so most floor jacks can easily get past/under them. They won't get all chewed up and mis-shapen from normal use. I don't have to perform surgery on them if I want to use/line up my jack pad adapters, or need those stupid adapters ever again in the first place! You can actually use jack stands with them, they're what we call "second kind of cool," and lastly, BECAUSE RACECAR!!

:drive:

I have a bag of them. Always good to have extras.
