Any possible solution to this yet? Just installed a set I bought from Speed Industry and got the same error messages on the infotainment. Had to completely shut off BSM to stop the error from constantly popping up for the time being
Make sure the bsm wire is fully plugged in the mirrors properly. Especially the passenger side

Keep hounding @Rexpeed for support. Hopefully they can confirm the newest batch of sensors are bad.

I installed an older model from Rexpeed that I bought off @Syeeee and have had zero issues on my 3.0 Prem.

Hey all,

Just got the update from our factory, we got a small bad batch chip last year that caused the warning issues. We're now remake the chips and will offer the exchange for the issued pair.

If you're also having the issue, please PM us with the video that shows the warning keeps popping up and the receipt / invoice (mainly to make sure if the product is from 1 of our dealers or directly from us.), we'll arrange a new replacement set shipped to you after the new batch is ready.

I bought mine from Speed Industry like you and had the same problem. I worked directly with Rexpeed to get the replacements shipped and the replacements haven't been giving me the error message since installed. Just send Rexpeed your invoice from Speed Industry and a quick video of the message popping up and they'll send new ones.

Hi guys,

Has anyone run into this problem? The blind spot indicators light up just fine, but I'll sometimes get a constant ping of Reduced Driver Assistance Warning popups whenever a vehicle is on my sides. The master tech at my local dealership returned the following error codes (attached) and thinks it's likely an issue with the mirror being defective.

I've also attached my wiring (excuse the mess, never fully cable managed it with electrical tape like I had planned due to the errors...) - the white cable doesn't' seem to connect to anything and I've just left it hanging - could this be why it's throwing errors?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping it's not a defective unit.

I can confirm I had this problem with the Rexpeed mirrors and followed this process with them to get a new set shipped. I just directly messaged them the info requested on this forum and I have received the replacement mirrors. The problem is gone. Rexpeed was easy to work with and I received the replacement mirrors

Here's my update.

I bought a pair of Rexpeed GR logo side mirrors back in 2021 from Speed Industry. The driver side started started to bubble from the adhesive peeling and cracking behind the glass. I emailed Rexpeed providing the invoice # back in May 2023 hoping to just buy a driver side replacement, but I received a compensated offer to get a whole new set.

After receiving my new 2nd pair of GR logo mirrors 25May2023 I started to get this same reduced blind spot monitor error message and found this on the forums. Rexpeed confirmed it was a manufacture defect and announced a remedy to effected customers on this thread. It's already been a month since the issue has started and I've reinstalled the oem mirrors back on. I had given up all hope and I didn't want to spend anymore time reinstalling the mirrors to record and prove they had the errors. I just planned on sticking with the oem mirrors until next year for a better batch of chips can be made.

To my surprise, I received an email that I was getting a GR logo mirror pair mailed and got it to my address in the same week. Just installed the newest set of GR logo mirrors today and drove with them for 40mins working great with no error messages.

Can't thank @Rexpeed enough for backing up their product and great customer support!!!

Here are some pictures to show I actually went through 3 sets and still would highly recommend getting them.

Ive strated getting a "Outside rearview mirror heating or electrochromic faulty" code a few weeks ago, is this the same one you get?

ive had this for the entirety of owning my rexpeed mirrors. The polarization layer has also started to seperate, which makes the mirrors look not polarized. Rexpeed offered to replace @ a discount and gave me some "tips" to maintain the polarization.
