Take a look at this handy dandy list: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/hybrid-turbo-sizes.15424/what power level should this turbo do?

i totally forget about thisTake a look at this handy dandy list: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/hybrid-turbo-sizes.15424/
I was going to say the same thing and also to head off the "CHINA!!!" thing at the pass...Comparing Garret, Precision, or any other top-tier turbo manufacturer is also a little unfair. "Household" brands aren't exactly the same ballgame as Pure, CTS, Omega, etc.
Never said anything about China. Though BorgWarner makes turbos all over the world. 22 Countries. My uncle (well great uncle) works at a BorgWarner factory in Illinois where they produce turbos time to time.I was going to say the same thing and also to head off the "CHINA!!!" thing at the pass...
Both Garrett and BorgWarner are manufactured in China as well. I believe Precision is still USA but ironically they are the most hit or miss quality wise of the three.
Which means... your stock turbo on your supra is a CHINA!!! turbo.
I know you didn't, but others have made that remark about the Remnant turbo implying it's a pile of crap because it's a CHINA!!! turbo.Never said anything about China. I agree as far as castinfIt's sort of like saying that, sure. It's the same CHRA I assume, which is great, however, CTS has a hit-or-miss track record with their CHRAs, the same with FP and Pure. Pure also has casting/machining issues. This is a whole new casting, obviously, because of the factory frame- a lot of R&D went into this design, and it's new. I'm not saying that Omega is bad or even might be bad, I'm saying I don't think there is a ton of data on this yet, in its current configuration.

Should make a lot more than Pure. The Omega 65 was rated for 840whp initially but since then they increased the turbine size which should allow for even more power.what power level should this turbo do?

What are the new specs? I'd like to update this to be accurate: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/hybrid-turbo-sizes.15424/Should make a lot more than Pure. The Omega 65 was rated for 840whp initially but since then they increased the turbine size which should allow for even more power.

It seems like you have the updated sizing on there already. What are the new specs? I'd like to update this to be accurate: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/hybrid-turbo-sizes.15424/
Yea, so hasn't change in months then. I guess they updated it a while ago?It seems like you have the updated sizing on there already.
yes the update happened a while ago.Yea, so hasn't change in months then. I guess they updated it a while ago?
according to this i dont believe it would make more then 850
- Compressor Wheel (Inducer / Exducer) = 65.4mm / 81.0mm
- Turbine Wheel (Inducer / Exducer) = 63.0mm / 58.0mm
It's not only about the size but more about the blade design and technology. The Omega 65's internal design is based on the Garret G30-900 turbo which is rated at around 900 crank. The sizing is however a noticeably larger. 850 to the wheels is a safe estimate but we will see during the tests.according to this i dont believe it would make more then 850
the hot size is much smaller compare to presicion 6466
and the 6466 can do 950-1000 hp at best
thats the 6466 size
- compressor Wheel 2.535" (64.39mm) inducer / 3.410" (86.61mm) exducer.
- Turbine Wheel 2.920" (74.17mm) inducer / 2.600" (66.00mm) exducer.
- Compressor Cover Ported S (4.0" inlet/2.5" outlet)
