Remove Mass Damper?

Did anyone remove their 48hz mass damper and notice any knocking noises? It weighs 5 pounds so it would make sense to leave it for daily cars

There is a vibration absorber just above and to the left of the damper that you can remove as well if you are ok with removing the damper for weight savings.

48hz TMD ( Tunes Mass Dampers ) are there to reduce gear whine noises resonating from the housing.

I removed back in 2021 and my teeth have never been whiter!
I am still bald but the car still somehow seems to drive. Fingers crossed

I removed mine last year and noticed zero difference other than the car being five pounds lighter.

I pulled mine off the daily a couple of years ago, and now my car feels 7lbs faster (both dampeners)
