SCAMMER REPORT
I got scammed BAD. I met Curtis Foster back in early 2022 and dropped my car off to him in early 2023.
Shown are his Instagram shop profiles shown in the pics: elitestreettexas ppe.atx zupra_man
I met Curtis Foster in middle 2022, car dropped off to him early 2023.
Original plan was to have his fab guy fix/finish my turbo kit and send it back to the original shop where it was.
Curtis out of nowhere brings up that he still has this built engine deal in trade for my stock engine for only 5k and the engine is worth like 20k.
I accepted, he basically begged to have my car sit there so they can pull the motor out and the wait wouldn’t be long. Fast forward, I found out the “specced out motor” had it's run around with messed up headwork and sat at different shops until it made its way to Billiam Mason.
While my car sat at Curtis’ I’d occasionally drop off parts thinking he’d start putting the car together… wrong. He kept giving excuses each time, I was left blind with communication with what’s going on with my engine. Curtis also sold me a stock converter with some half assed weld job on it claiming it was a pure converter. The converter recently gave out this past weekend and I reached out to @puredrivetrainsolutions and they said they’re dealing with the same issues from Curtis’ shop.
Back to Curtis, the engine gets back in late November 2023, and he says it’ll be running in 2 weeks. That never happens, and he starts acting very weirdly and leaving the shop all the time. Jump to January 2024, no progress at all like he promised, and shortly after, he leaves on a cruise and disappears.
He returned, and I told him I didn’t want my car there anymore. Conveniently, during that week (I found out this week), he rushed my stuff out so fast because he was getting evicted from the place.
Car gets towed back to the original shop to get saved and it was a nightmare… missing parts everywhere, new damages, dents, and dings. I lost over 20k+ and come to find out my engine has used parts in it for the build.
Billiam Mason is there anything else “used” in my engine build besides the pistons? I will be doing a leak down test soon to verify but I need to know if there was anything else supplied by Curtis Scammer to prevent failure on my engine.
I have been experiencing excessive crankcase pressure, but other victims of Curtis got trashed motors.
Be careful who you trust.
Look at these other victims who lost a ton of money to Curtis.(80k loss, 40k, etc)

*This is a copy paste from my FB and IG post for the scam report*
*It is funny how the first time I called out Billiam for his shit customer service, I got bashed for it by all his close buddies; this post, I called out Billiam and asked why there is used stuff put into my engine, and it is all crick.* Shows you that everything gets sweeped under the rug in this community lol. Many other people have come forward about their Billiam motors from Curtis' shop giving out within the week, and other people messaging me with issues with their Billiam motors.

People have been murdered for far less than what this guy has done. Someone dropping $80k to build their car would still have the funds to buy a plane ticket to Sweden. Also, their prison system is significantly more chill than anything in the US/Canada, too.

I'd contemplate how bad prison really is
On the other hand, I don't do well in tight spaces

Contact the local BBB and see what they can do

Is this behavior why PPE folded and Curtis and the other guy split? Curtis went to Elite Street Texas and I have no idea where the other guy went.

I guess fortunate for me to see this since I was thinking about taking my 2025 to Elite Street based off of other forum member recommendations.

BBB is a paid service. It's not a bureau. You can literally just buy a nice rating, or pay to have bad ratings removed. It's a scam. OP needs to contact law enforcement and open a police report for fraud, because that's what is being alleged. Based on the lazy math I've done for OP's post, the amount of money at play falls somewhere between a Texas state jail felony and a third degree felony.

Yes, Curtis screwed over the other guy that ran ppe with him and then turned it all over on him, making him look like the bad guy. I was told Curtis ran his scams in Chicago and Florida before coming to Texas and that he has had a history of credit card scams.

I have done that, law enforcement says this is more of a civil matter and an attorney will have to get involved. Also, since he is in Stockholm, Sweden, it will be a bit more challenging, but a warrant can be put out, and revoking his work visa is possible as well.

First, sorry this happened.

I have a legitimate question, and I honestly mean it when I say there is no judgement here. You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I am curious, do you have any thoughts on how you got tangled up into this? If I'm reading this right it seems you did not have your car for 1.5 years, while also spending over MSRP on promised upgrades and subsequent damage control, on top of the initial MSRP to acquire the car after everything is said and done.

I don't mean to be rude -- I'm just trying to view the matters of the situation. And I'm trying to follow the headspace of how one could get here. Again, no judgement. I acknowledge this is a tragedy.

But I also imagine you've had a lot of time to self-reflect and have some thoughts. Wondering if you could share more?

I remember also having a tough time dealing with Curtis to get my ECU cloned with Femto back in Dec 2021. I initially was fine to work with PPE because it was endorsed by Jesse De Beers but after a few weeks they split and I was left hanging. I had paid like 3500 USD for the full clone service but after receiving my original ECU they said they dont have any donor ECU's even though he confirmed that he has an ECU for me. So I had to source an ECU myself and then ship it to him otherwise they were just sleeping on my ECU. Anyways what should have been a 2-3 week procedure took 3-4 months (plenty of "two weeks").

Same thing here, I was without the car for about 2.5 months because of alleged customs delays and lack of donor ECU. To be fair, Curtis was responsive and shipped my original ECU back as soon as possible so I could at least drive the car. The saving grace of that whole wait was how good of a deal it was to get ECU clone + EcuTek license.

Sorry for your loss OP, crazy to hear that's the kind of person Curtis turned out to be.
