Options? What sticker price are you looking at? Just premium or with options?

I got $48.9K on a vehicle that stickered at $56.7K, but that didn’t include tax and registration. That was also with the $1,500 incentive.

I’ll say it again, but if you want a benchmark, get online with Carmax in Kenosha, they sell new Supras. Get their no haggle price and use it as a cudgel at a dealership near you. They had a 3.0 Premium plus drivers assist at $56k plus change that they were offering for $50.5K. I was going to take it, but back and forth with two local dealerships got me to the $48.9K that I settled on.
Thanks for the heads up.

I chime in since the car is actually mine now. I was looking on and off for a few months..cross shopping new 2021, 2020 and used 2020. Could not find any good deal on a 2020 used, so I started to look for any left over 2020s. Ended up with a new 2020 with around 700 miles for $44k, $46.000 OTD (taxes, fees, all the expenses. MSRP was $56,180, its was a premium with driver assist.

I am new to this forum and currently looking around for the best deal on a 2021 preferably...just like your situation, if I find a great deal on a 2020 3.0...it might be a deal maker. So far, I am slowly learning more and more about the MK5 from current owners, etc. I was told to be patient looking for the best deal.

What is a good deal in your mind? What price are you looking for? OTD.

@H2O_Doc A great deal to me for an OTD price for a 2021 Premium MKV is $45,000. If a dealer will make a deal on this price, I will get it the next day. Serious buyer here. Just being honest and straight on my offer. Blue or White or Tungsten Gray.....for color. 3.0 'not' 2.0.

I highly doubt you will get $45k OTD on a 2021 3.0. I would be all over that too... there was a $4k incentive on 2020's in December that may have made it possible but I was too slow. I wonder if the incentives will ever come back... the few 2020's I found are very close to 2021 prices

Agreed. To get $45K OTD, one would need the car price to be around $42.2ish for PA (estimate). I can’t imagine getting close to that. Hard even if there was a $4k incentive. Seems like a hard mark to achieve.

@Azure I think I will have to shop around more and still have to stop by the dealership this coming Friday to test drive the 2021. Hopefully in the next few weeks or months, Toyota incentive will come back and I may just have to pull the trigger depending on the OTD price. This will require a lot of patience on my side. Thanks you for your input.

@Railduke82 The more I linger around on this forum and read more about the specs, capabilities, potential and most importantly....customer experience, I am more inclined to look for an A91 even if requires a little more money. 53K for an A91 is not bad for the first month of 2021, but 9.1% is steep for sure. Why 9.1%-What is the breakdown there? Washington has only 6.5% sales tax.

Depends the city you live in. 6.5 is the base state sales tax but depending on what city and county you buy the total sales tax can vary from 8% to 10% (Seattle the most expensive). Obviously these taxes aren't negotiable. The only way to lower them is to get the best deal before tax in the cheapest taxing municipality. License and registration is fairly cheap.. I was hesitant to buy after reading various rattling issues and other complaints, but with the little time I've had with the car I'm very very happy. Unreal all the comments the car generates in public.

Forgot to mention, the car came with the additional carbon rear spoiler that many of the A91's are missing. Tech package and everything else.

That was a good deal. The blue with the black accents is sweet.
