Yes. you can do that. Configure Sport Individiual to the settings you like. Suspension -> Normal, Engine (exhaust) -> Sport. Then use BimmerCdoe to start the car in Sport Individual. That'll get you the settings you desire. No, can't do that.
Really? I have not seen that option. Will check it out, but I have not seen where you can change the suspension to normal in sport mode.Yes. you can do that. Yup, it's way down there in the menus. If you find 'Sport Individual' settings, you can select Normal or Sport for Suspension, Engine, Transmission, and Steering and save that configuration to your profile. Then you can choose Sport, Sport Individual, and Normal in the selection pop-up.Really? I have not seen that option. Will check it out, but I have not seen where you can change the suspension to normal in sport mode.
How do I do that?
Is there coding to force it to Comfort suspension with Sport exhaust ??
You can code this with Bimmercode. I have my car coded to start in Sport Individual with Sport + Transmission mode active.Personally I find it ridiculous that here is even a "sport mode" button in this car. It should be in "sport mode" all the time with NO button. If I wanted it to drive in "comfort mode" I would have brought a Camry.
Thanks for that - so 'Engine' is really exhaust?![]()
Yes as Zrk mentioned. Configure individual, set damping to normal and engine to Sport or Sport+. Then set the car to start up in Sport Individual. So essentially you have Normal, Sport Standard, Sport+ with more aggressive shifts, and then a Sport Individual to tailor however you want.
I was asking myself the same question about a month ago. Over the weekend, I coded to increase the brightness of the screen, kill the fake engine noise and all the startup warnings and it now rings like a Rolls Royce...just for Lulz. What is Bimmercode? Is it something you buy, or you program in, or a BMW dealer needs to do??
It does a bit more, throttle responsiveness is also part of it. I'm honestly not sure if there are different values for torque targets/ performance as part of that setting or not. But, yes it also changes exhaust based on being in Sport vs Normal. Thanks for that - so 'Engine' is really exhaust?
There's definitely -something- in Engine that messes with JB4. I was running into the engine pulling timing a little bit on a DaBears JB4 Map 6. We eventually traced it down to my sport individual settings all being set to Normal... No idea what the fuck was going on there, but changing them back to sport and it lower timing was resolved. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe unrelated, but maybe not.It does a bit more, throttle responsiveness is also part of it. Also obdlink cx worked for me and was only 60 vs 100.

Best money you will spend on your Supra!I was asking myself the same question about a month ago. Over the weekend, I coded to increase the brightness of the screen, kill the fake engine noise and all the startup warnings and it now rings like a Rolls Royce...just for Lulz.
Very easy.....

Check out this thread. All in... it $100 for the dongle and $31 for the app. Completely worth it and very easy.
