I always recommend datalogging when doing a dyno pull. Its a lot more helpful in diagnosing problems than just reading the code

Burger hasn't released a kit the Supra yet and the BMW B58 kit isn't a direct fit injection plate different

Exactly why I said my guess. I also think you're thinking of port injection

Hi,

Sorry to bump the thread again. Did you find the root cause for the:

CD990B Message (request, rear axle speed, 69.3.4) missing, receiver DME, transmitter DSC

and

CD990E Message (front axle speed request, 69.3.4) missing, receiver DME, transmitter DSC

?

I got those as well and even driving normally I have them. This after being in the drag doing burnouts, but still I cleared the codes, drive normally and the codes are there again. No CEL or anything, I don't know if should worry about it.

doing burn outs and hitting the revlimiters will trow the car into limp mode without notice or massage

other than that limp mode free

CD990B - front axle request missing (dsc)
CD990E - rear axle request missing (dsc)
21B056 - radiator lower valve coms fault
21B055 - radiator upper valve coms fault
11A605 - fuel delivery too low
Hi, sorry if this has been covered somewhere before but i have the similar four codes listed below since day one purchase of the vehicle and am wondering if a serious issue and how to resolve it:
  • CD990B
  • CD990E
  • 21B056
  • 21B055
I recently had an unsuccessful ots flash over the weekend and reverted back to stock since but have noted some minor problems that popped up ever since the visitation to the Dyno, namely chassis and drivetrain limitation.

A quick scan revealed the following codes 120308 and 120408. Am about to take my car out for a drive after installing the JB4 that I was hoping to run a BEF with and will monitor how it goes.

Grateful if anyone can share any insights as our local dealer don't bring in Supras and so am relying on my limited BMW knowledge.

Those code are normal. There were some coding issues from factory, they do not do anything to the car. It was for other options OEM likely forgot wasnt on this car. Normal procedure is simply coding them out when you get a tune.

120308
120408

Those codes are a result of the 10D000 code which is a soft limp mode that reduces boost etc. ECU likely caught something it didnt like. or maybe something with the failed flash. Clear codes, and reflash.

Just since this thread came up, thought i'd add that ive been tuning several stock turbo supras in excess of 500whp on e50 on MHD. A couple even over 530whp with fueling upgrades(dragy estimates, no dyno)

Are E50 stock turbo maps running decent IAT's / avoiding IAT-related timing/power loss without a better manifold in warmer weather? Hoping for right at 500 WHP on E50 but the florida heat and humidity is brutal for 3/4ths of the year and seem to bog down my JB4 E40 map on longer pulls. Just depends on if I go manifold before custom tune or get the tune sooner and worry about a manifold later.
