TBH think the the numbers will be a little skewed since most of the people who sold wont stay on the forum, I sold my Mustang, bought my supra, left all ford groups and joined the supra groups in the same day lol.
I still have my account on M6G and pop on there more recently. I've actually even seen a thread pop up asking about swapping from a mustang to the Supra so I threw my 2¢ in on the thread being as I've owned both. I had a Mach 1 optioned out with everything except Nav and Recaros and I think the Supra is more fun all around and drives better. Little less room and just slightly more performance oriented so a slightly stiffer ride than the Mustang but that isn't really even a complaint from me, just an opinion.

Yeah I'm sure some owners who have sold their car still stop in here and there but I feel like it's more likely to move on to the next car forums is all. I do wish i would have stayed on like two of the Mustang groups just to see if i could find who bought my car as i sold it to a used car dealer who deals with a lot of modded cars.

My mustang put down like 430 to the wheels with just intake and tune so from a performance stance i think the supra would have been dead even or pulled in straight line TBH, as for the turns the mustang also had an airlift kit so the ride was smooth but there is no way in hell I would put that thing through twisties like i do the supra. Im also broad dude and the supra is for sure a much tighter space, once I'm in its fine ...getting in and out is the issue lol.

I kept the app on my phone and until they did an update about a month or two ago on the app I was able to see exactly where my car was. I watched for posts to see if anyone said anything in there asking if someone knew where it came from but I'm guessing it is an older gentleman or something who is mostly garaging the car cause whenever I'd check it the car barely had any more miles on it than when I traded it in

And yes getting in and how is definitely different than the mustang. I did not have to bend or twist my head when I got in or out of that. Just a normal in/out like anything else. Definitely have to get lower and turn my head when I'm getting in/out of the Supra and I'm really not a tall guy at 5'11"

Almost 3 years into my ownership but a similar answers to the others I have no intentions of selling and plan to drive the wheels off it. The only vehicle I'd consider currently trading in for is a new g87 M2 but other than that no other car stands out to me at the moment.

On a side note what diffuser are you runnning?
Its the Max Orido version, a solid fit for OEM+.

I bought mine cash back when the pandemic started Spring of 2020. She's been great; mostly my garage queen and has just over 5K miles on the odo. ?

I plan to keep her for another 6-7 years.. maybe longer depending on how she ages.
I've yet to do the recall, so she can still be flashed (ECU) for the next guy/gal if that matters.

Have had for just under 1.5 years now and will probably hit 5.5k miles this month (and oil change #2). I don't see myself moving on for a minimum of 5 years and more likely this ends up being more like 10+. Planning to replace the DD with a new midsize truck this upcoming spring and after that I think I'll get back to more modding. Originally planned to get tuned this year but just haven't felt the urge as I'm happy how it drives and other hobbies are keeping me occupied.

I didn't really say anything when I threw my vote in the other day. I swapped cars and got mine used with about 5000 miles on it back in December of 2023. Right now I've got about 15000 on it since the car had such low miles I figured I needed to catch it up on what it was missing out on ?

Car has been so fun and amazing to drive. Absolutely love it more than the Mach 1 I had and currently really don't see myself swapping out of this one. Not really sure what it would take to get me into something else

I'm at 6 months in and have been thinking about moving on next spring. I love the mkv a lot but I should have got the MT. The auto is just not it for me.

I'm on my third supra. First traded in for MT. Second total loss. Third 4 months in just hit 10k miles, I love this thing. I got bored of the auto in 2 weeks.

I appreciate your feedback having the personal experience. I’m not gonna lie, I don’t know why but recently I’ve been liking the sound of the Mustangs and even Camaros in my area with their sweet sounding exhausts. I’ve never owned either a mustang or camaro and have recently wondered what those cars were like as in living with them or longevity. Not thinking the grass is greener but simply curiosity[/QUOTE]

Don't get me wrong, I loved the Mach 1 a lot and IMO I still haven't heard anything that sounded as good as that cars exhaust note. I had a mid muffler x pipe delete and the thing sounded like a race car, just absolutely perfect to my particular taste.

Supra sounds good in its own way and eventually I'll grab some aftermarket exhaust for it and I will probably like it more but that is the one thing (other than extra storage/occupant space) that the Mustang had over the Supra

A bit over 3.5 years and 15k miles for me. Racked up half those miles the first year I owned the car. Now it really only comes out on track days and maybe twice a month to drive to work.
