Terry made me move to Map4 with FF30. The car pulls much cleaner and feels stronger too. Still feel some throttle closing? I used to tune with a Microsquirt and Holley EFI, but these cars are different. I sent the log to Terry as well. Log below:

MT tuning help will be done via PMs since it requires a lot of revisions. I'd like for you two to try the new MT mode firmware with Map 4 at FF 30 to see how it works out.

For anyone on the fence about the FP upgrade, here's a 91/E40 car running trims at 25-35.

It has similar boost and timing to a MHD/BM3 OTS E40 map, so I would expect similar power though it runs leaner on JB4.

So yeah, definite MUST HAVE for anyone using ethanol in my opinion. Otherwise you are limited to E25 at best. Big plus for the 91 octane guys.

I'd say this starts to close that 30-40whp gap between JB4 E maps and proper flash E maps.

I haven't really ventured past E40 yet since I know it can get dicey around E50 with the fuel pumps, and I would want to test that thoroughly on my own car first. JB4 seems to do well with FOL =80 when E40 in the tank.

looks like it's overboosting with drastic throttle closures.

your traction control is going crazy. check your mph dataset, it's bouncing up and down when it should be monotonically increasing. throw those logs away next time.

Terry immediately suggested Map4 with FF30 after that log. Map 4 runs much better. Also it has been very cold and stock tires are no good. I only pressed the tc button once. Should I do a long press for future reference/logs?

The car is staying fairly straight. I do understand your point. I come from mustangs and most know how happy they are losing control.

I don’t know but if you watch BMS last video on their Supra, I think they talk about it.

It probably was just MT stutter nonsense. I am starting to thinking MTs have a calc_tq limit of 47. You can see it in most logs. That's what this MT mode is supposed to do is limit the dme observed torque.

Nope. This upgrade is not a flex-tune. You still have to target a specific E blend for your tune.

Yeah seeing typical MT stuttering. Let me know if you want to test this MT mode firmware and see if it helps at all. I am doing MT tuning/testing via PM since this thread would be a mess. Just message me there if you wanna give it a shot.
