Is there a possibility of the 2.0t in the Lexus IS/GS making it in the Supra 4 cylinder version?

Unfortunately, no. The AR engine series is a decent power plant capable of handling a shit ton of boost. Is there a possibility of the 2.0t in the Lexus IS/GS making it in the Supra 4 cylinder version?
I wish that was the case... all the power plants, electronics etc are all BMW.Is there a possibility of the 2.0t in the Lexus IS/GS making it in the Supra 4 cylinder version?
I know we have conflicting opinions on things, and you're more than entitled to them. But do not present your opinions and predictions as facts until they are confirmed. We know nothing about the electronics of the vehicleI wish that was the case... all the power plants, electronics etc are all BMW.
Maybe it's not a B58, at least not in the traditional senseHi @A70TTR I have noticed something that I'd like your view on. When the B58 came out, amongst the differences to the N55, an additional 20% of boost was mentioned by BMW. Now, the stock boost on the N55 is 8psi odd. That would mean the B58 runs around 9.5 to 10psi. However, I've read that Supra runs 7psi.
I have a few theories as to why it's running such relaxed boost levels but what's your opinion on this
As said, not at this time. It is a BMW B48Is there a possibility of the 2.0t in the Lexus IS/GS making it in the Supra 4 cylinder version?
Are you hinting at a B58TU or something else such as the upcoming S58?Maybe it's not a B58, at least not in the traditional sense
As said, not at this time. It is a BMW B48
It only makes sense in the timeline of development lining up with the X3/X4 M models and the new 3 series receiving a 48 volt electrical system. Especially when you consider how many articles say 450hp rumors which lines up with the S58 power levels and rumors of a 7500 redline carrying over from the S55.
Why stop there?Detuned S58?
Iron block you mean?Hey A70TTR, after that event in Spain I am a little concerned, that the mkv really is just a z4 in a Toyota body. I am not one of those Armageddon preacher's which hang around on this forum, but all those BMW knobs and switches and all the new rumours about no iron head made me nervous.
You had more insight into this project, could you tell once more that Toyota did more then just calling BMW and ordering a car without body.
Greetings
